Sunderland set to make January move for Norwich striker Steven Naismith

SUNDERLAND are keeping tabs on Steven Naismith and will make a move for the Scottish striker in January.
David Moyes tried to bring in Naismith from Norwich before the transfer window closed, but failed to get the deal over the line.
However with the 30-year-old seemingly out of Canaries boss Alex Neil's first-team plans, a move to the Stadium of Light could materialise when the window re-opens.
Moyes previously managed Naismith at Everton.
Naismith hasn't even made the 18 for Norwich's two games against Cardiff City and Wigan.

"The bottom line is I've got a real strong squad now, everybody's really back (from injury) and it's a case of I've got to leave three good players out of the matchday squad."
Naismith will have to stay put at Carrow Road until January when the transfer window re-opens.
