Roman Abramovich’s ex-wife Irina’s hiding in London mansion fearing her £500m fortune is under threat

RUSSIAN oligarch Roman Abramovich’s ex-wife is hiding in one of her London mansions anxious that sanctions may target her £500million fortune, her former security guard told The Sun.
The one-time soldier, who spent years travelling the world with the tycoon, says the disgraced Chelsea owner’s ex, Irina Abramovich, is now “living in fear” her lavish lifestyle is under threat.
The 55-year-old had five children with Roman before their 2007 divorce.
Abramovich has had his assets frozen in the UK and his £1billion superyacht Eclipse was recently seen in the Mediterranean.
Irina has not come under official pressure over her ex’s money.
Our former security guard source, who we are not naming, said: “There’s wealth and riches — and then there’s Roman Abramovich-inspired money. It sparked opulence off the scale.”

Ex-stewardess Irina’s shopping habits at Harrods show the extent of her lifestyle, our source claimed.
They said: “She was always Harrods’ No1 customer.
"She got designer clothes by the ton. She’s the Imelda Marcos of London.”
The close protection officer — hired by Team Fusion, which provides security for Abramovich, his family, and Chelsea FC — added: “Irina is usually out on the town every night.
