ENGLAND have hammered Ireland in a crucial Women's Six Nations match.

The Red Roses ran out crushing 69-0 winners.

    Greg McWilliams team were heavily depleted today with many players out due to sevens commitments.

    Ireland still need to qualify in that format for the World Cup where as they cannot achieve this in the 15 player format.

    Today was always going to be an uphill struggle for the Irish but whatever Simon Middleton said at half-time inspired England into a rout of a second-half performance.
