RICKY HATTON has set up a fund-raising page for deceased boxer Mike Towell.
The former world light-welterweight and welterweight champion has pledged £5,000 of his own money and invited boxing fans to help him raise £20,000 for Towell's partner Chloe Ross and their baby son.
Scottish fighter Towell, 25, was knocked out in a bout with Dale Evans in a welterweight bout in Glasgow on Thursday.
The boxing world is still trying to come to terms with the tragedy that saw Towell lose his life in hospital after suffering a fifth round stoppage.
