Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl as Patrick Mahomes leads epic comeback against Eagles after Rihanna extravaganza

PATRICK Mahomes led an epic second-half fightback to win his second Super Bowl title in a thriller.
The beaten-up quarterback was in excruciating pain late in the first half after a hit to his injured ankle.
Kansas City trailed by ten points at the half when Rihanna graced the stage at State Farm Stadium.
But Patrick Mahomes fought through the pain barrier to lead the Chiefs back from 24-14 down to win a 38-35 classic.
The injured quarterback threw three touchdown passes, two of which came in the second half.
He was also crowned Super Bowl MVP to add to the NFL MVP award he scooped earlier in the week.
Mahomes said: “We challenge each other as a team, it took everybody to win this football game.
"Shout out to my teammates, Super Bowl champions baby – let’s go!"
Mahomes found Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore to give the Eagles an unlikely lead in the second half.
Jalen Hurts threw one touchdown pass and ran in three more - including to tie it at 35-35 with five minutes to play.
But Mahomes led another game-winning drive to set up Harrison Butker with a short field goal for the victory with eight seconds to play.
The Eagles were made to pay for their poor second-half performance after Rihanna's performance.
The music superstar rocked Arizona with some of her greatest hits.
Fans flooded Twitter to speculate that Rihanna could be pregnant.
By the time those rumors were confirmed, Mahomes was on his way to a second Super Bowl title to go to his one from Miami in 2020.
He has been in the championship game for three of the last four years.
And the 27-year-old warrior looks like he'll be back on the grandest stage for years to come.
Mahomes added: "I’m not going to say dynasty yet – we’re not done.
"I’m going to Disney Land now. I’ve got Disney World and Disney Land checked off.
"Hopefully they make some more parks and I can go on a world tour."
