  • Formidable duo

Ex-United striker Louis Saha has named the two players he found hardest to play against - with both coming in training at the club.

Saha told : "When people ask about my toughest opponent, I always say it’s a combination of players. For me as a striker, I always look at Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic though.

"They were aggressive but technically gifted too, and you would always struggle against them.

"Back in the day it was really hard. They were playing with a goalkeeper as well who was good with his feet, so you felt like an idiot. But in terms of aggression, those two were very good.

"So for me Ferdinand and Vidic were the toughest, in training and in games."

  • Man Utd want Kolo Muani

Man Utd are "pushing hard" to sign £105million-rated striker Randal Kolo Muani this summer, according to reports.

And according to , the Red Devils are eager to sign French international Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.

United face plenty of competition for the 24-year-old's signature - with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Tottenham all interested.

Bayern are particularly keen, having failed to adequately replace Robert Lewandowski after the Pole's exit for Barcelona last summer.

The Red Devils supposedly consider Kolo Muani an even higher priority than Napoli hot-shot Osimhen.

He has scored 13 Bundesliga goals this season, as well as a further two in the Champions League.

  • Matic's managerial hopes

Former Man Utd and Chelsea star Nemanja Matic has goals to become a manager in the future.

The midfielder currently at Roma said to : "I have already decided that I will be a manager one day. I am in the process of getting my coaching license, but for now I am focusing on football.

"I feel good, fresh. But it sure, I will be a manager in the Premier League."

  • Forgotten United star to join Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo could be set to welcome a former Manchester United team-mate through the doors at Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo, 38, joined the Middle Eastern outfit midway through this season in a £173-MILLION-A-YEAR deal.

Alex Telles may be about to be another shock acquisition by Al-Nassr.

The Brazilian defender, 30, has been out on loan with Sevilla this season.

According to , Al-Nassr have identified Telles as someone they would like to sign on a permanent deal.

He still has one year of his Man Utd contract remaining - which he signed in 2020 when joining from Porto for £15.4million.

His £100,000-a-week wages have reportedly put several clubs off.

  • Levy must respect Kane's wishes

Teddy Sheringham has called for Spurs chief Daniel Levy to respect the wishes of Harry Kane this summer if he wants to leave and join Man Utd.

Levy has previously rejected offers for their talisman, but Sheringham thinks if the player wants to go, then he has to cash-in.

, Sheringham said: "After the service that he's given Tottenham, Levy should give him the respect and the freedom to make his own decision.

"If during that conversation Harry says that he wants to leave in the summer, then Daniel must grant him that wish and get as much money as he can for him.

"Daniel needs to have the conversation with Harry and get everything out in the open.

"Harry will have his own questions and he will want to know who is coming in to manage the club, what the budget will be – these conversations happening between a club’s top player and a club chairman are not unusual."

  • Kane is Man Utd's missing piece

Teddy Sheringham believes that if Man Utd sign Harry Kane they could compete to win the Premier League next season.

, he said: "If Kane were to join United, then of course it would make them a better team and would bridge that gap between where they are at the moment and competing for the Premier League title next season.

"United are close – they’ve already won the League Cup this season and have a place in the FA Cup Final to look forward to.

"If you add Kane to that team, suddenly it starts to look like a different animal."

  • Sheringham makes Kane comparison

Ex-United striker Teddy Sheringham has compared Harry Kane's situation to his own.

He left Spurs for the Red Devils in 1992 and helped the club win the treble in 1999.

, he said Kane may have to follow in his footsteps: "I joined United because I felt that Tottenham were not going to allow me to compete for trophies.

"I didn’t think the club were going to bring in the players that would have enabled us to challenge for the biggest prizes.

"Harry has got to look at the situation at the club and ask himself the same questions that I did.

"If he doesn’t think that the club are going to be able to bring in players that would see them competing, then I don’t think there’s a single Tottenham fan that would begrudge him the opportunity to win trophies with another club."

  • Dybala offered to United

Roma star Paulo Dybala has been offered to Man Utd in a cut-price deal.

When the attacker signed for Jose Mourinho's side for free prior to the start of this season, a number of releases clauses were reportedly agreed to become active after one year.

claim a fee of £10.5m is enough for a non-Serie A club to bid for him, while Italian sides will have to pay £17.5m.

The likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham have been informed of his availability.

Despite the cheap fee, Dybala is likely to demand high wages and he has to want the transfer himself.

  • Baby Garnacho

And the winger is ready to welcome a new member of the United family.

  • United keen on new keeper

While the future of Dean Henderson is unclear and David De Gea is expected to pen a contract, United are on the lookout for a new keeper.

The Mail claim the club sent a scout to watch Swede Leopold Wahlstedt, who plays for Norwegian side Odds BK.

Meanwhile, they also have an interest in Dinamo Zagreb and Croatia World Cup hero Dominik Livakovic.

Both would be back-ups to De Gea.

Inter Milan's Andre Onana is also on the list but he would be more expensive and Chelsea are keen.

  • Henderson future in doubt

Dean Henderson faces an uncertain future after being told he faces an additional three months on the sidelines.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper left Manchester United at the start of the season in order to join Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan.

The England international suffered a thigh injury back in January for the Premier League strugglers which would later rule him out of the rest of the campaign.

Now  are reporting that Henderson requires an operation on the thigh tear that is now expected to keep him out until August. He is expected to be back for pre-season.

He could be sold by United this summer after his comments on not being United's No1 and with Erik ten Hag keen on bringing in a new stopper this summer.

Wout Weghorst's loan will not made permanent by United at the end of the season, according to reports.

The Dutchman was signed as a stop-gap after Cristiano Ronaldo's exit and despite him working hard, he has not scored enough goals to supposedly earn a switch to Old Trafford for good.

He is set to return to the newly-promoted Burnley, who will make a decision on him.

  • Ratcliffe's transfer demands

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to demand full control of transfers from the moment a deal is agreed, report .

The Ineos owner's wishes are unlikely to be accepted by the Glazers until the deal goes through but it shows his hands-on approach to running the club.

It reportedly appears likely that the Glazers would lower their stake to a minority share if Ratcliffe buys United.

He wants to deal with player transfer while Qatari rival Sheikh Jassim is more interested in delegating that role and overseeing the wider state of the club.

  • Father figures

"And maybe, some games, also by suspension, the rhythm is broken and then you have to get back.

"But today, this was the Casemiro we have seen almost all season, and he brings so much in organisation and composure and determination.

"His leadership is then so important for us because others go with him. He is an example."

"This season we’ve still got one trophy ahead of us to play for and we’ll be battling for it as hard as we can.
