Snooker’s top 10 best-paid stars as 2023 World Championship hots up, but does Ronnie O’Sullivan top the charts?

RONNIE O'SULLIVAN will pocket £500,000 if he wins this year's Snooker World Championship and clinches his record-breaking eighth title.
Last year, The Rocket was victorious at the Crucible and runner-up at the European Masters.
And the list of the top ten highest earners from the 2021-22 snooker season shows that O'Sullivan reaped the financial rewards of his success.

Neil Robertson is not far behind O'Sullivan after earning £708,000.

In third is Judd Trump with a sizeable £647,000 in winnings.
And the top five is completed with John Higgins on £418,400 and Zhao Xintong with £386,350.
Mark Williams, Luca Brecel, Yan Bingtao, Mark Allen and Kyren Wilson all sneak in to make up the top ten.

O'Sullivan is looking to add to his riches in Sheffield's famous theatre this monthand he is the favourite to win again.
He is currently in the driving seat of his quarter-final against Brecel and looks set to face Anthony McGill or Si Jiahui in the semi-finals.
