  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    58. The ball is played into Bowen, as he takes it on the chest it appears it strikes the hand of the Fiorentina player.

This usually only means one thing.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    56. Sofyan Amrabat is still proving a thorn in the side of the Hammers.

Paqueta isn't the sort of player who offers the defensive side to the game and as a result, the Moroccan midfielder is having a field day.

West Ham are still trying to use Antonio as a focal point with people playing off him with the long ball.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    54. Aguerd is shown a yellow card for his part in the challenge which seems a little harsh on the Hammers defender.

Both players were going for the ball and neither was showing intent to hurt the opponent.

No Fiorentina players have been booked so far tonight.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    52. We were expecting a game with a lot of goals but the way this is panning out, this final could be decided by a single goal.

    48. As soon as West Ham win the ball back they are gifting possession back to the Italians.

This needs to change as it is not sustainable for the London outfit.

Antonio holds the ball up well and wins a free kick.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    46. Cabral has a terrific scoring record for Fiorentina.

He will cause David Moyes' a headache in this second half.

  • HT: West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

If you happened to miss the entire World Cup in Qatar, you may not have seen the abilities of Sofyan Amrabat.

He is controlling the game in the middle of the park today and West Ham need to find a way to shut him down.

Moyes may need to get someone like Declan Rice to man mark him.

  • HT: West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

The Italians have dominated the ball in the first half but have struggled to test Areola in the Hammers' goal.

Fiorentina gave West Ham a scare at the end of the half which should act as a warning to them.

Replays showed it was the right decision and Jovic was fractionally offside as the ball was headed forward.

  • HT: West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

The referee brings the first half to a close.

What a dramatic end to the half, West Ham had a massive reprieve with that goal being disallowed.

Luka Jovic finds the back of the net but the goal is ruled out.

Kouame's header came back off the post before the Fiorentina striker heads the ball home.

The striker was just offside when Kouame headed the ball.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

45+2. Fiorentina are trying to create something in added time.

West Ham have dealt well with the aerial threat of crosses so far.

The Italians have yet to have a shot on target in this game.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    45. West Ham have come into the game more in the latter stages of the first half.

They need to do this more consistently to put Fiorentina under some pressure in the right end of the pitch.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    39. Despite all their possession in this first half, the Italians have not really created much so far.

David Moyes is losing his mind on the touchline at how easily his side are giving the ball away.

West Ham will do well to get to half time level and regroup.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    37. This is why stadiums stop letting fans take drinks to their seats.

    Totally unnecessary.

Bowen is fouled on the halfway line and the referee awards the Hammers a free kick.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    35. As Beraghi has a bandage put on the cut on his head, the stadium announcers warn the fans behind the goal.

The protocol is to take the players off the pitch if this continues.

At the West Ham end, the pitch has looked like Wetherspoons at closing time on a Bank Holiday.

  • West Ham 0-0 Fiorentina

    33. Gonzalez is causing some problems down the right wing.

As he dances passed his marker a great covering challenge wins the ball at the expense of a corner.

As the Fiorentina player comes to take the corner he is struck by a cup from the West Ham end.

The Italian player has blood streaming from his head as a result.

Terrible behaviour from the West Ham contingent behind the goal.
