Dressing room rumour
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is the source of discontent in the "disgusted" dressing room, TalkSPORT's Alan Brazil has been told.
This is after Ten Hag banished Jadon Sancho from the squad and facilities, including the canteen, following their public spat after the player's training performances were publicly scrutinised.
The Dutch tactician also caught flak from many onlookers over his handling of Cristiano Ronaldo before the five-time Ballon d'Or winner departed for Al-Nassr.
This is only what I heard, a Man Utd player told someone I know very well that they are not having the manager. They're not having him, definitely not.
By all accounts they're disgusted at the way he treated Cristiano and they say Sancho is a great guy who works his socks off. So I don't know who to believe to be honest.
Alan BrazilRatcliffe takeover latest
Manchester United owners the Glazers are set to hold a board meeting in the next few "days" to discuss fresh proposals from leading bidder Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe has taken the lead ahead of rival Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani with his minority stake of 25 per cent.
According to , however, there is "no certainty" the Glazer family will agree to Sir Jim's new proposal as Sheikh Jassim could up his bid for a full takeover.
Ratcliffe's approach would see him take control of shares held by the American owners and by some minority investors.
Hammers to return for Harry
West Ham are reportedly set to make a fresh bid for Harry Maguire in January.
David Moyes tried and failed to land the maligned Man Utd defender in August.
But 90Min claims he remains interested and is ready to offer a new £30million bid.
West Ham fear they could lose Kurt Zouma to Saudi Arabia and would like a replacement already in before that happens.
Sancho's rocky relationship with ETH
Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag are no longer on speaking terms, according to reports.
The pair have seen their relationship hit rock bottom after their public spat.
And iNews claims neither man is talking to the other as both refuse to apologise.
It means Sancho is likely to leave United in January, with a return to Germany possible.

Hojlund confident of Rashford partnership
Rasmus Hojlund reckons he can form a mighty attacking partnership with Marcus Rashford at Man United.
He said: "I really like and enjoy playing with him. He is a world-class player.
"He's a player I've looked up to, even though he's only a few years older than me.
"He has done well since he came in as a 19-year-old and scored against Midtjylland. I think he has been a great player ever since, and it is of course great that we are teammates today."
Keane slams Onana start
Roy Keane reckons Andre Onana has got off to an awful start at Man Utd.
The new goalie has made several big mistakes and appears unsure of himself after a £50million move from Inter Milan.
Keane told Gary Neville's podcast: "He [Onana] has had a very bad start. Being a goalkeeper at Man United is a difficult position, you need a big personality after making mistakes.
"He's already made six or seven big mistakes, it's not a very good start."
Martial future in doubt
Man Utd could release Anthony Martial on a free transfer next summer.
The striker will be out of contract after nine years at the club.
But his injury record has been woeful in recent years, with Martial netting just 11 league goals since the 2020/21 campaign.
And ESPN says United could let him go to make room for a new forward to go alongside Rasmus Hojlund.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof are reportedly set to have their contracts extended.
The pair have both emerged as handy squad players under Erik ten Hag.
And United are keen to keep them tied down for a while longer by triggering 12-month extensions in their respective deals.
ESPN claims the duo could then enter fresh negotiations for new long-term contracts.
New box office rules
Premier League matches could soon be shown on a new channel as the auctions for live rights looks set to hot up.
Top-flight chiefs are allegedly looking at offering an “expanded fifth package of games” to broadcasters.
They will include “several complete midweek rounds” plus Sunday clashes involving teams featuring in the Europa League.
And the claims that streaming service DAZN “are expected to target the Premier League matches currently owned by Amazon Prime” in the bidding process.
How England last looked
England are set to host Australia on Friday in an international friendly at Wembley.

Why Hojlund joined Man Utd
Manchester United ace Rasmus Hojlund decided to move to Old Trafford from Atalanta last summer after he was promised regular game time by manager Erik ten Hag.
Hojlund was in regular contact with Ten Hag during the negotiations leading to his move.
I spoke to the coach up until the transfer.
For me it was important to play football and if I had been told that I had to go to Manchester United to be a reserve for the rest of my days, I would never have gone there.

Manchester United are keeping tabs on RB Leipzig star Lois Openda ahead of the January transfer window.
According to , United could make a move for Openda in the New Year.
The Red Devils are planning to move fast for the striker in order to sign him before rivals come knocking.
But Leipzig are not keen to let another star go mid-season after the exits of Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea, Josko Gvardiol to Manchester City and Dominik Szoboszlai to Liverpool in the summer.
West Ham target Maguire
West Ham are still keeping tabs on Manchester United outcast Harry Maguire.
According to , the Hammers "remain interested" in Maguire and could return for him in the January transfer window.
The East Londoners saw a £30million bid for the centre-back accepted over the summer, but the prospective move fell through due to the England international's financial demands.
However, West Ham could try again as Kurt Zouma is linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Andersen's Old Trafford jibe
Crystal Palace ace Joachim Andersen claims playing at Old Trafford is much easier than facing Manchester City at the Etihad.
“It’s a cool stadium [Old Trafford] with a cool atmosphere.
I don’t know if it’s the best place. It’s just as cool to win elsewhere, because it’s three points we’re playing for, but it’s clear that United are a big team.
However, I would say that it is more difficult against Manchester City, to be honest.
Joachim AndersenRatcliffe leads takeover race
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has moved ahead of Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and is now leading the race to buy Manchester United.
According to , Ratcliffe is now the favourite to take over United.
The same report claims Sir Jim is in talks to buy a minority share, believed to be around 25 per cent.
The Glazers prefer the INEOS owner's proposal, which would see them staying at the club, compared to Sheikh Jassim's full takeover bid.
Credit: Getty Staff walk away
Manchester United stars are being educated on how to create “healthier relationships and behaviours” as staff reportedly leave the club following the drama surrounding Mason Greenwood and Antony.
Now, some United staff have started the process of searching for new work, according to
Last month, United CEO Richard Arnold led an all-staff meeting during which he was grilled extensively about the club’s handling of those two situations.
Those who attended were left under no illusion of the level of dissatisfaction from club staff.
This is allegedly because of the disappointment at how the Red Devils handled the cases.
But sources insist there has not been a spike in staff exits after the Greenwood and Antony sagas.
Maguire on mum's fears
Manchester United ace Harry Maguire has told his mum not to worry about him — because he can handle the abuse he gets.
She was in the stands during the Scotland game and probably felt affected by it and annoyed by it.
She’s more worried for me — but I did reiterate to her that I am all good and strong mentally and I can deal with it.
It probably affects my family more than myself as they worry how I’m dealing with it. I just tell her all the time that I’m good.
Harry MaguireWayne Rooney admission
Birmingham's new manager Wayne Rooney revealed he had other offers before taking over at St Andrew's.
For myself, firstly to get back into English football is great. It's obviously what I've wanted to do and to be honest I've had opportunities over the last four to six weeks at other clubs as well to do that.
But, thing is, speaking to Birmingham and seeing the ambitions of the club where they want to go to, where they want to get to excited me.
I want to be successful, it's clear that the club want to be successful. It was a very easy decision once I'd spoke to them.
I'm coming into the club and I'm just really excited to get going. I'm happy to be back, bit jet lagged still...
But just excited to get going and I'm really looking forward to the next game because we have work to do and my first training session with the players will be a bit different to what they're used to. But it's an exciting time and I'm delighted to be a part of that.
Wayne Rooney
More from Maguire
Manchester United ace Harry Maguire hit back at his critics by citing his record and promising to keep working hard.
It’s not my decision to whether I start the next game or not. If you look back on my last 15-20 starts for club and country, I would be happy to sit here and say I’m really happy with my performances.
My record under this manager speaks for itself. I haven’t started as many games as I like but my win percentage when I’ve played is ridiculously high.
Of course there are times when I could do more and could improve. I can only do what I’ve been doing when I’ve come into the team, bringing positive performances.
I’ve started two games this season and come on in a few off the bench. The manager can only watch training and make his decisions from training in the games when I get the opportunity to play.
I’ll keep working hard, I’ll keep pushing, I have great belief in myself and I’m sure there will be opportunities to come.
Harry MaguireCredit: Getty Harry Maguire's defiant message
Manchester United ace Harry Maguire is adamant his record under manager Erik ten Hag — where he has won 14 of the 18 games he has started during the Dutchman’s reign — is evidence of his quality.
I am not going to sit here all my life and play once a month. If it carries on I am sure myself and the club will sit down and have a chat about things.
But at the moment I am focused on two big games for England. And then I am fully focused on fighting to try and win back my place at Manchester United and trying to help the team climb up the league to where we should be.
I have belief in my ability and what I have done in my career. Every player who is on the bench should believe they should be starting otherwise they wouldn’t be playing at a high level.
I am no different. It has been tough, I want to play games, I want to feel important to the club and to the rest of the team. I haven’t been playing nowhere near as much as I would like.
I just have to make sure I am ready to take the opportunities when they come along.
Harry MaguireAntony probe continues
Manchester United player Antony's ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavalin arrived in the UK ahead of her police interview over claims of abuse.
Cavallin has accused the the 23-year-old of assaulting her multiple times during their relationship.
The model claimed that she was first attacked by the winger in June last year, while pregnant and on holiday in Brazil.
The DJ alleged that the Brazil international then headbutted and punched her, damaging a breast implant, at a hotel in Manchester on January 15 - the day after United's 2-1 victory over Manchester City.
And Gabriela claimed Antony threw a glass at her in May, injuring her finger.
She arrived in the UK on Wednesday ahead of a scheduled chat with cops in Manchester over her claims he attacked her at a hotel in the city.
Wonderkid transfer breaks down
Manchester United fans have expressed their frustration after it emerged a deal for Palmeiras wonderkid Gabriel Menino fell through this summer.
According to , United had an £8million bid accepted for Menino.
But a deal fell through after the Red Devils switched their focus to "problem areas".
While the report does not specify what these issues were, the Manchester giants signed two midfielders in Sofyan Amrabat and Mason Mount, forward Rasmus Hojlund, goalkeeper Andre Onana and defender Jonny Evans.
Given the problems in United's midfield this season, fans expressed their frustration on Twitter at a deal for the 23-year-old falling through.
