Brentford chiefs will not let Hogan leave cheaply and warned interested parties it will take £15m plus add-ons to land the goalscorer.
The 24-year old has 18 months remaining on his contract at Griffin Park which gives the Championship outfit a solid bargaining position.
The club are set to recall Jota from his season-loan spell at Eibar as the midfielder has played just seven appearances for the La Liga outfit.
Brentford are 14th in the table coming into the festive period.
