JUST when Brazilians were beginning to recover from the 7-1 humiliation that Germany handed them, Toni Kroos sent them a reminder of the match on New Year's Eve.
The Real Madrid star hilariously trolled the South American giants by tweeting the flags of the countries to make up the scoreline when he wished his followers a happy New Year.
Brazil were thrashed by the eventual World Cup winners on home turf in the semi-final of the 2014 competition, which sent shock waves around the globe.

Kroos starred in the drubbing, bagging a brace in the historic fixture, and he couldn't stop himself from rubbing salt in the wounds over two years on from the game.
After his post, he tweeted: "A lot of attention for a little joke. Wish you all a safe and happy new year!"
