Jorginho put in a man of the match display against Liverpool last week.

However, he was dropped to the bench for the game against the Hammers.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, SunSport columnist Morgan said: "My preferred front three, but benching Jorginho after his MoM performance vs Liverpool is ridiculous.

"Arteta’s love for Havertz is a massive blind spot."

Morgan also fumed at West Ham fans for booing Rice at the start of the game.

Arteta explained before the match that Jorginho had not trained for most of the week.

He also highlighted issues with Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus and Emile Smith Rowe.

The Spaniard said: "Alex is not fit, Jorgi hasn't trained almost all week as he's been carrying an issue and it took him a while to recover on top of that.

"Gabi [Jesus] is not available in the squad and Emile turned his ankle in training so he's not fit to play."

But Arteta would have the last laugh as his side romped to a crushing win over the Hammers.

After thrashing West Ham 6-0, Arsenal have won five league games in a row.
