THE world's best snooker stars will be showcasing their talents at the Wuhan Open 2024 - with the winner in line for a huge sum of prize money.

World No 1 Judd Trump made history last year after becoming the first-ever player to lift the Wuhan title by beating Ali Carter 10-7 in a thrilling final.

And as a result, the English icon took home £140,000 for winning the showpiece match alone.

Trump will be hoping for another huge slice of the pie, but the likes of John Higgins and Kyren Wilson will be out to stop him.

However, British Open champion Mark Selby is out of the frame after being knocked out during qualification, while Ronnie O'Sullivan has withdrawn from the tournament.
