  • Clayton 0-1 Smith (0-1 in sets)

More double woes for Clayton, who needs another six darts to get into the leg.

You don't win Grand Prix darts doing that.

He's playing catchup throughout the leg, with Smith first on a checkout.

Smudger takes out 145 - fantastic stuff again.

  • Clayton 0-3 Smith (0-1 in sets)

A whirlwind set from Ross Smith.

Clayton doesn't get a look in, with the Englishman dominating from the off.

Plenty to do for the Welshman, who scurries off stage to collect his thoughts.

  • Clayton 0-2 Smith (0-0 in sets)

Clayton really struggling to find those opening doubles.

Smith takes advantage, bagging his second 180 of the match.

    After that, an outrageous 149 checkout. T20, T19, D16.

  • Clayton 0-1 Smith (0-0 in sets)

Two big friends on the Oche, and this has all the makings of a great game.

Clayton has the throw but is nervous out of the gate.

He misses six darts on the opening double, allowing Smith to take control of the leg.

119 checkout almost goes for Smith, but he has another chance. Double 10, game shot.

  • Jonny Clayton vs Ross Smith

    Three down, one to go.

We already have three quarter finalists confirmed - Ryan Joyce, Rob Cross, and Luke Humphries.

Now a heavyweight clash between Jonny Clayton and Ross 'Smudger' Smith.

  • Humphries beats Pietreczko 3-1

Cool Hand wins it on the bull - was it ever in doubt?

That was a very assured performance from the defending champion.

  • Humphries 2-1 Pietreczko (2-1 in sets)

A hold of throw for the German.

He's at least making Humphries work for it.

  • Humphries 2-0 Pietreczko (2-1 in sets)

Cool Hand has hit the accelerator.

Pikachu can't deal with it and looks to have thrown in the towel.

    Double 16, game shot.

  • Humphries 1-0 Pietreczko (2-1 in sets)

The World No. 1 has found it.

A break of throw on the first leg of the set and he's in the driving seat, taking out 56 with ease.

  • Humphries 3-1 Pietreczko (2-1 in sets)

Magnificent from Cool Hand but a grimace from Pikachu.

The German has a dart to take the leg, missing double 16.

Humphries saunters up and takes out 130 with three perfect arrows.

  • Humphries 2-1 Pietreczko (1-1 in sets)

Wayne Mardle is going crazy on commentary as Pikachu refuses to switch up his doubles when his path is blocked.

Humphries has a ten-darter opportunity but misses all three on the checkout.

On his next visit, double 4 does the trick.

  • Humphries 1-1 Pietreczko (1-1 in sets)

The German looking really impressive and he levels it up with a nice dart on tops.

Shame he didn't have that in the last leg.

  • Humphries 1-0 Pietreczko (1-1 in sets)

Back underway and Cool Hand is in a real game here.

Pikachu with an immediate chance to break, but he misses tops on his third dart.

Humphries storms back with 112 to hold his throw. That's why he's the champ.

  • Humphries 1-3 Pietreczko (1-1 in sets)

A maximum from Pikachu, who almost takes out 134.

No matter. The German returns next time and takes away double 4.

    We're all level.

  • Humphries 1-2 Pietreczko (1-0 in sets)

We're on throw in this set, with Pikachu needing tops to retake the lead.

    No messing about.

He's settled into the contest now and it's game on.

  • Humphries 1-1 Pietreczko (1-0 in sets)

Cool Hand making it look so simple.

52 to checkout - 20, double 16. So very, very easy. We're level in set 2.

  • Humphries 0-1 Pietreczko (1-0 in sets)

A first 180 of the match, with Humphries picking up where he left off before the break.

Pikachu has the first checkout chance, but can't take away 160.

Cool Hand needs the bull, but falls into the green.

A good dart on double 16 gives the German his first leg of the contest.

  • Humphries 3-0 Pietreczko (1-0 in sets)

The World No. 1 cruises to the first set.

So far, so good for the defending champion. He hits tops and strides off stage for a quick break.

  • Humphries 2-0 Pietreczko (0-0 in sets)

A few nerves on show from Pikachu.

He can't find his trebles, with Luke able to pile the pressure on.

95 left for the German, but he misses the bull. On his next visit, he misses double 4 for the leg.

No mistake from Cool Hand, who hits the same double to break the throw.

  • Humphries 1-0 Pietreczko (0-0 in legs)

Cool Hand has the throw and gets this contest underway.

"Leeds are falling apart" rattles in from the Leicester crowd, as Humphries the quickest into his stride.

Double 8, missed. Double 4, game shot.

  • Luke Humphries vs Ricardo Pietreczko

Time then for the World No. 1.

Humphries the overwhelming favourite to progress here as he looks to defend his Grand Prix title.

But we've seen plenty of shocks this week in Leicester - and Pikachu Pietreczko is no mug.

  • Cross beats Schindler 3-1

An error-strewn leg from the German.

And Rob Cross sees it out. He was close to going down 2-1 earlier in the contest, but battled back to book his place in the quarters.

He ends it on that trusty double 16. Never in doubt.

  • Cross 2-1 Schindler (2-1 in sets)

Brilliant checkout of 72 for Schindler.

That keeps the game alive - just. Cross now has the darts and you'd expect him to get this done now.

  • Cross 2-0 Schindler (2-1 in sets)

It's all unravelling now for Schindler.

He can't buy a double to get going, while Cross sends in another 180.

So far in set 4, Schindler is averaging under 50.

  • Cross 1-0 Schindler (2-1 in sets)

Schindler has the throw, but Cross has really found his groove.

105 for the break - there's that double 16 once again.

Ryan Joyce awaits in the last eight and Cross is looking favourite to join him.
