DAMON HETA has showed off a brand new Rolex after getting his £60,000 nine-darter prize.

The eccentric Aussie scooped the massive jackpot when he became the second star to throw a perfect leg at the World Darts Championship in December.

Heta had already come close in the previous round when he checked out 141 on his third visit to the oche during his Round of 32 clash with Luke Woodhouse.

Cue mayhem on the Ally Pally stage as the 37-year-old he jumped around like a madman before hugging his opponent.

The feat bagged Heta £60,000 courtesy of tournament sponsors Paddy Power, who were dishing out a massive £180,000 for every nine-darter thrown.

For each of the two nine-darters in the tournament, the bookmaker also donated £60k to Prostate Cancer UK, with the remaining massive payout going to one lucky fan selected randomly from the crowd.

Heta ultimately lost the match and immediately set his sights on a swanky new watch.

But he revealed on Thursday that he was still waiting for the money to drop into his bank account.

Asked if he had secured his gift to himself yet, the Heat laughed: “Obviously, I’ve still got my sundial, as you can see.

“Paddy Power has been slow to pay! Make sure you get that out there!

“But, nah, we’ll just roll with what we’ve got at the moment until the dollars come through, mate.

“Obviously, the nine-darter, brilliant. I’ve never felt anything like it. I never heard a crowd like it and I was hanging on to every single dart as they were.

Darts star Damon Heta would quit playing if he didn't have the support of his loving wife Meaghan

“Like I said, I’d give that nine-darter back for the win, 100 per cent.

“But at the end of the day, we move on, and like I said, we’ve got a whole season ahead of us and that’s what I’m looking forward to.

“You’ve always got to look forward rather than looking back. You can just learn your lessons and that’s where I’ve learnt my lesson. Moving on, let’s go for it.”

SunSport understands Heta was paid just hours later with the end of January always due to be date of the payment.

And, on Friday afternoon, Heta posted a snap as he enjoyed a martini while wearing his stunning new timepiece.

Heta wrote: "Something to remind myself of the achievement. Shout out to Paddy Power for their great work for throughout the worlds."
