‘Say goodbye to your job’ – Fans convinced UFC star will be SACKED after starting brawl post-fight as security intervene
FANS are convinced that Nikolay Veretennikov will be sacked after starting a brawl.
The UFC star was beaten by Austin Vanderford at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday evening.
Veretennikov, 35, was outclassed in the two rounds as he lost by technical knockout in UFC Fight Night 252.
Vanderford agreed to take on the fight just four days prior and claimed his 13th MMA career victory.
The referee called time on the fight at four minutes and 13 seconds into the second round.
However, it was the aftermath of the fight that caused the biggest stir on social media.

Veretennikov took exception to the result and shoved Vanderford from behind according to video footage.
Security jumped to intervene and break up the two rivals as Vanderford crudely gestured towards Veretennikov.
The incident has convinced fans on social media that Veretennikov could face tough disciplinary action.
One posted: "Might not be in the UFC by Monday! Lol."

The Kazakhstan fighter has previously won Championships with Fury FC and UFL.
However, he has struggled since transitioning to the UFC and has now lost back-to-back bouts.
SunSport has requested comment from Veretennikov.
UFC CEO Dana White was asked if there would be any punishment for Veretennikov in a similar manner to Paul Daley's banning for punching Josh Koscheck after the fight ended.
He said on : "He punched. Paul Daley punched Koscheck in the face. Listen, yeah, it's never good when you go over.
"But, you know, I don't know why he went after him [Vanderford]. I understand he was upset with the referee.
"What Paul Daley did was completely different.
"You should see what goes on back here after the fights.
"You guys would f***ing be crying forever if you knew what went on -- you're writing f***ing all kinds of stories.
"And what are you gonna do to them? And believe me, that was nothing."
Vanderford reacted to the moment after the fight and insisted that the referee saved Veretennikov.
He said: "Of course, our emotions are running.
"He starts talking s*** and he calls me a b**** and I’m like who is cut up and who is getting their ass beat."
