    70. Plymouth are still holding on here.

While Man City are wasting a lot of good chances.

When a shot was blocked in the box, it broke to an unmarked Haaland on the back post.

He looked to hit it on the half-volley, does not catch it perfectly, as it grazes the crossbar with the keeper beaten.

The sight of Erling Haaland coming on was the last thing Plymouth wanted to see – yet it is a compliment to the visitors that he was called upon with half an hour to go.

It has been all City since the interval but the well-organised Argyle backline has held firm.

A quarter of the game to go – and the dream is still on for the Green Army.

Haaland even missed a big chance to put his team in front.

    68. You certainly could not see this one going to penalties tonight.

Should it even go to extra-time, you would feel some of these Plymouth players would be dead on their feet in the additional thirty minutes.

That seems a long way off at the moment.

De Bruyne's swings in a curling cross and almost catches Hazard out, who turns it over the bar at full-stretch.

He is bundled over and referee awards a free-kick.

    64. It is time for the visitors to ring the changes.

Their players have had so much work to do in this game already, fresh legs are must for the remainder of this match.

If things stay as they are, we would be heading to extra-time.

  • Man City 1-1 Plymouth

    62. Foden picks the ball up outside the box and has one thing on his mind.

He shifts it onto his left-foot and looks to bend a shot in the far corner of the goal.

It is struck so sweetly but narrowly flashes the wrong side of the post.

    58. What a miss from Lewis.

Grealish does well out wide and looks to cut it back into the middle.

He blazes his shot over the crossbar.

  • Man City 1-1 Plymouth

    56. When given the chance, the visitors are more than capable of passing the ball around.

It is just when City high-press them quickly, they have no time to consider their actions.

As they fail to clear a cross, Lewis unleashes a fierce volley that narrowly goes over the crossbar.

  • Man City 1-1 Plymouth

    54. Plymouth are trying to use the full width of this pitch.

There is no playing out from the back for the visitors, sending long ballls out to the flanks.

It is proving difficult to find an out ball at the moment.

  • Man City 1-1 Plymouth

    52. Big chance for Bernardo Silva.

As Foden crosses the ball, the Portuguese attacker meets to get a right-footed shot away from six yards out.

Hazard gets down well to make the save.

  • Man City 1-1 Plymouth

    50. Plymouth must be expecting a game of defence versus attack for long periods in this second-half.

They have already shown they have the minerals to do just that in this game.

It is such a tough ask with Man City having so many first-team players in this side.

    48. Haaland comes off the bench to warm up.

Not the sight the visitors were wanting to see.

Grealish gets on the end of a teasing cross and fires a shot off but it is well blocked once again.

    46. We are back underway at The Etihad.

It seems a daunting prospect once again for The Pilgrims.

They should take confidence from the fact they scored from a set-piece and look to ask more of Man City's defence.

FOR seven minutes, the Argyle fans were dreaming of another massive cup upset.

Pony-tailed blond defender Maksym Talovierov did a passable impression of Erling Haaland as he rose highest to nod the visitors ahead from a 38th minute corner.

It looked like a moment that could go down in FA Cup folklore.

But City took the wind out of their sails as Nico O’Reilly nodded home Kevin De Bruyne’s free-kick right on half-time.

Still all to play for though.

De Bruyne whips in an inch-perfect free-kick and O'Reilly heads into the far corner.

There was too much power on it for the keeper to deny him.

  • Man City 0-1 Plymouth

    44. Some neat interplay from the hosts opens up Plymouth.

De Bruyne has the ball at his feet wide in the box and drills a shot towards the far corner.

Hazard gets down brilliantly to turn it around the post for a corner.

We are going to have one added minute.

  • Man City 0-1 Plymouth

    42. Man City force a corner as De Bruyne's shot is blocked.

As Foden's cross comes in, Ake heads it wide of the target.
