EXCLUSIVE - Red alert
Good morning United fans - and it's a very happy Saturday.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe's cuts look to be paying off, with SunSport able to reveal United are leading the race for Viktor Gyokores.
The Sporting Lisbon striker is Europe's hottest property this summer.
United’s gradual U-turn in club finances means they are ready to pip Arsenal to land the Swede hot-shot.
Liverpool star slams United
Liverpool star Andy Robertson has hit out at Manchester United for showing Scott McTominay a "lack of respect".
I think he went over there with a point to prove. I think he wanted to prove Man Utd wrong and prove people in the Premier League wrong. And he’s went over there and done that pretty successfully.
That’s credit to him, credit to his attitude and his determination to be the best version of himself. Now he’s a king over there.
At Man Utd he probably lacked getting that run of games consistently, he was in and out and things like that. He probably didn’t get the respect he deserves.
Then he goes over there, puts in a magnificent season and fair play to him, to end it with the league title.
Scott is a winner, we see that every day in training because he sets standards, looks after himself. He talks to the young lads and tries to give off his experience.
Andy RobertsonMbeumo demands slammed
Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo's £250,000-a-week salary demands have been slammed by Jamie O'Hara amid a potential move to Manchester United.
£250,000-a-week? That’s quite steep, isn’t it? From Brentford!
I’ll be rocking up and saying, ‘I’m at Brentford and by the way, if you want me, I want £250,000-a-week’.
Yeah, of course [you’ve got to admire his ambition], but then you just put him back in his place a little bit, don’t you?
He’s probably on £60-70,000 a week at Brentford.

Antony offered reunion
Manchester United flop Antony could be saved from his Old Trafford hell by the man who brought him in the first place.
According to reports, new Bayer Leverkusen boss Erik ten Hag is considering signing the winger this summer.
Ten Hag was in charge at United when the Brazil international arrived for £86m in 2022 after their previous stint together at Ajax.
But the 25-year-old's time in Manchester has been nothing short of a disaster as he even admitted he went days without eating it got so bad.
Man Utd are understood to prefer a permanent sale for Antony if an exit is sanctioned.
According to , Leverkusen could offer a viable option for the Brazilian to finally call a permanent end to his time at the Theatre of Dreams.
The Bundesliga giants are thought to have shortlisted Antony as one of a number of forwards they are keen on should Florian Wirtz leave for Liverpool this summer.

Alejandro Garnacho slammed
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster took aim at “sulking” Alejandro Garnacho’s haircut as he urged the Red Devils to axe the winger this summer.
I think for Man United it's best to ship [him] out. If I was the manager I'd be a little bit similar to [Ruben] Amorim in the case of I just want team players.
I want a bunch of lads who are good, honest, hard working team players. And I don't get that vibe from Garnacho, I don't get that vibe from a few of the players.
You look at the full-time whistle after the Europa League game. You have Brennan Johnson doing an interview.
He looks like he hasn't had a haircut for about three months, [hair] horrible all over the place, but his interview was incredible.
You could tell he's a real nice lad, he's hard working, he does everything for the team. Then you look at Garnacho. Fresh trim a day ago, dyed blonde ready for the final.
The full-time whistle goes, he's sat on the pitch sulking by himself, not trying to get behind the other lads, picking them up, saying, ‘Well done we got this far’.
“And I think that there is the big contrast. I just want good lads, honest, hard working lads.

United urged to sell Bruno
Manchester United have been urged to sell captain Bruno Fernandes this summer.
Emilie Heskey told : "If I was Manchester United – I would take that type of money being talked about for Bruno Fernandes.
"I know it’s come out that he has rejected the move to Saudi Arabia, but that fee would be tough to reject for them.
"That would allow them to fully buy in and build around the style that Ruben Amorim wants.

"I would have liked to have seen him at Old Trafford, but he is still a name for the future and not yet ready to lead the line for a team like United.
"He’s decided on Chelsea and United have to accept that at the moment the club is not as alluring as it once was given there is no Champions League football, finishing fifth bottom in the Premier League, we are now relying on the name alone to attract players."
