Premier League Darts LIVE RESULT: Stephen Bunting beats Gerwyn Price to WIN Night 9 in Berlin – updates

Stephen Bunting came out on top in Berlin on Night 9 of Premier League Darts.
Bunting came into the round with a losing record that stretched back to a decade, but vanish League demons to beat Gerwyn Price 6-5.
The Bullet overcame Nathan Aspinall and world No.1 Luke Humphries on his way to his triumph.
Whilst, Price was handed a bye due to Michael van Gerwen's late withdrawal via injury before trashing Chris Dobey in the semis.
Table-topper Luke Littler was dumped out in the quarter-finals to Dobey, after winning four of the first eight nights.

Stephen Bunting 2-2 Luke Humphries
Humphries breaks!
Humphries misses tops for the break, Bunting misses D18 for the hold.
The story of the night really. Humphries is allowed back again and he takes out D10 this time to level things up.
Stephen Bunting 2-1 Luke Humphries
A hold for Humphries who is on the board in this semi final.
Bunting hits a 180 to leave 4 and really put pressure on the 24 Humphries left.
Better on the outer ring for the world number one this time and he narrows the gap - before staring down the BOARD!
Stephen Bunting 2-0 Luke Humphries
Bunting consolidates the break of throw - somehow!
Tell you something, the finishing tonight has been very average.
Humphries misses four darts at a double for the break of throw and Bunting comes back for D5 and gets it, when Humphries missed D20, D10 and D5 before him!
Stephen Bunting 1-0 Luke Humphries
Bunting breaks!
He's settled much the best here and has time to spare to see out the break.
He leaves 24 and it's under a little bit of pressure when Humphries leaves 89 behind him but Bunting comes back for D6 after a single 12 and gets the break!
Stephen Bunting 0-0 Luke Humphries
Darts' number one player in the world just scored 19 - 1, T3, T3 - in his third visit.
Stephen Bunting 0-0 Luke Humphries
It'll be Cool Hand Luke to throw first.
Game on!
Smiles on both faces
Both players looking relatively relaxed and comfortable as they make their way to the stage.
Humphries knows this is an ideal opportunity to reach another nightly final.
Bunting will just be happy to be here!
Bunting readying for a semi
It's the first time he's getting to compete in a Premier League semi final this year and he's thrilled about it!
He told Sky Sports: "It's unbelievable, a pinch-me moment.
"I've tried 110 per cent every single week. You see some negative comments come through on social media, but I just try and stay away from them.
"I've been working so hard behind the scenes and thankfully I've got a win. I'm so happy.
"I've got to play again, but bring it on!"
On Littler's poor display
Mark Webster told Sky Sports: "He was poor on the double - 16 per cent - you can't legislate for that.
"It was an uncharacteristic performance from Luke. He looked disappointed at the end - he just left himself with too much work to do.
"A big win for Dobey and a good boost for the other players too."
Semi final line-up
A semi final which includes Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey but doesn't feature Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen* or quarter final specialist Rob Cross?
Something strange in the air tonight...
- Stephen Bunting vs Luke Humphries
- Chris Dobey vs Gerwyn Price
*Bit harsh including him when he's injured but it adds dramatic effect.
Luke Littler thumped by Chris Dobey!!
Chris Dobey 6-2 Luke Littler
A sensational victory for the Geordie as he swats aside the teenager.
Littler's finishing was nothing short of abysmal and he's been well and truly punished by Chris Dobey!
Superb stuff from him to close out the match in a nervy eighth leg.
Chris Dobey 5-2 Luke Littler
Comfortable hold for Littler with Dobey not on a finish.
He scooted well clear in the leg and Dobey almost resigned himself in the knowledge he'll throw first for the match in the next leg.
Chris Dobey 5-1 Luke Littler
He's one from victory the Geordie!
He lost the first leg and he's won five on the spin. Littler left 170 but Dobey gets first crack at 82.
Dobey only gets one dart at tops and pins it!
Chris Dobey 4-1 Luke Littler
DOBEY BREAKS AGAIN!
Howay man, Dobey is three up!
From 216 he leaves 36 with a 180 and puts pressure on Littler's 120.
Littler can't convert and Dobey comes back to pin D18 and break for a second time.
Chris Dobey 3-1 Luke Littler
How on earth has Dobey held throw there!?
I'll tell you, Littler has now missed 11 darts at a double in this one including FIVE at double 10 in the match.
He went on to miss a couple more at D2 as both players were down and left on 4 but Dobey comes back and takes it out first time.
Chris Dobey 2-1 Luke Littler
DOBEY BREAKS!
Littler hits 26 during that leg, waving to the crowd to ironically cheer loudly.
But Dobey keeps plodding along and leaves 40 and means Littler only gets one dart at D10 - which misses again!
Dobey comes back and needs two for the D20 to break!
Chris Dobey 1-1 Luke Littler
Three darts missed for the leg by Littler to break throw - including two at D10 - allows Dobey back in.
He'd done well to leave 32 and needs just one dart in his next visit to check it out.
Chris Dobey 0-1 Luke Littler
Nothing flashy, nothing too exciting.
But a 14-dart, comfortable hold of throw for Littler who takes out the 60 he'd left with a two-dart combo.
Chris Dobey 0-0 Luke Littler
And it's Littler to throw first in this quarter final.
Game on!
Switch up
A change of song for Chris Dobey as he's introduced first.
A huge welcome follows for the teenager, who is a very short price to set up another Gezzy showdown.
Other half
Well we know that Gerwyn Price has been given a bye into the semis.
Who'll he play?
Either Luke Littler or Chris Dobey and that match is next!
Luke Humphries is through to the semis!
Luke Humphries 6-3 Rob Cross
Five legs on the spin and from 3-1 down to 6-3 winner, Humphries is through!
He almost does so in style with a 160 checkout, hitting single 20 instead of double.
Cross then has the chance for a 121 but misses the bull - and the outer bull too.
Humphries comes back for the 20 he left and pins it to set up a semi final with Bunting.
Luke Humphries 5-3 Rob Cross
HUMPHRIES BREAKS!
From 3-1 down, Humphries is 5-3 ahead and now throwing for the match.
Cross' 180 there left 97 to pressure the 40 left by Humphries but it was all too little too late.
Humphries hits single 20 and single 10 but pins double 5 and he's within one of victory.
Luke Humphries 4-3 Rob Cross
Humphries leads for the first time tonight!
But Cross only has himself to blame. Four missed darts at a double for the break of throw as he allows Humphries to hold in 19 darts.
Nervy moments clearly the way both men threw but Cool Hand noses ahead.
