Premier League Darts LIVE RESULT: Stephen Bunting beats Gerwyn Price to WIN Night 9 in Berlin – updates

Stephen Bunting came out on top in Berlin on Night 9 of Premier League Darts.

Bunting came into the round with a losing record that stretched back to a decade, but vanish League demons to beat Gerwyn Price 6-5.

The Bullet overcame Nathan Aspinall and world No.1 Luke Humphries on his way to his triumph.

Whilst, Price was handed a bye due to Michael van Gerwen's late withdrawal via injury before trashing Chris Dobey in the semis.

Table-topper Luke Littler was dumped out in the quarter-finals to Dobey, after winning four of the first eight nights.

  • A chance for Bunting?

While Bunting has endured a tough start to Premier League Darts, he might look to his old self for motivation.

Prior to Aspinall beating Bunting 6-2 earlier in the tournament, Bunting had won 3 on the spin against Aspinall.

If he has belief in himself, he could pick up a win against The Asp tonight.

  • Littler’s bogey man

Luke Littler has looked unstoppable since he burst onto the scene in December 2023, but The Nuke is in human.

Despite his brilliance, Gerwyn Price seems to have his number.

The pair have met twice this season so far, Price won both the matches.

In fact, The Iceman has won his last SIX encounters with The Nuke, a spell spanning almost a year.

  • Not so Bunting mental

Stephen Bunting is a hero to darting fans all over the world, as crowds constantly get behind him.

However, his recent displays have not backed the support.

He was handed a first 6-0 defeat in Premier League history last week, and is bottom of the table.

To compound on his misery, he has to face the in-form Nathan Aspinall, and has picked up ZERO wins so far this season.

  • Cool Hand’s rampant return

Luke Humphries has finally turned the corner in 2025.

He had a healthy lead at the top of the Premier League Darts table, but slipped to second as his form slipped out the window.

On nights seven, six and five, Humpries failed to register a single point.

But, he picked up three last week, going all the way to the final

  • Luke Littler’s fine form

The Nuke has turned on the style as of late.

He handed Stephen Bunting a first 6-0 defeat in Premier League history, and went on to thrash Luke Humphries 6-1 in the Luke Littler’s fine formfinal in Newcastle.

It was his second nightly win in a row.

He has also added the Belgian and UK Open titles to his resume for 2025, and is now top of the Premier League table by EIGHT points.

World No 1 Luke Humphries looks to bounce back from his harrowing 6-1 defeat at the hands of Luke Littler, as he faces off with Rob Cross.
