MTGP 93, which takes place at the Royal Regency in London on Saturday night, will be the first of a three-fight collaboration between the promotion and sports broadcasting powerhouse DAZN - which has a global audience of over 20 million subscribers.

The DAZN deal, however, isn't the only major milestone recently achieved by the promotion.

MTGP recently announced they have broken further ground with a soon-to-be-announced show in the Middle East.

Dubai will play host to the promotion's maiden card in the UAE, which Muay Thai fans around the world are waiting for with bated breath.

Chairman Philip Tieu has been at the forefront of securing the three-fight DAZN deal and the promotion making inroads into the Middle East.

And, understandably, he's excited by what the future holds for the organisation.

He told SunSport: "I’m incredibly excited about everything happening with MTGP right now.

"Partnering with DAZN is a huge milestone—it’s bringing Muay Thai to a massive global audience and giving our fighters the recognition they deserve.

"Taking MTGP to Dubai is another major step in expanding the brand, and it’s only the beginning.

"I’m also really proud to be partnering with ST Solar UK, a company that’s on the rise and making a real impact in the push for a greener future.

"Just like MTGP, they’re all about innovation and growth, and it’s great to be working alongside them.

"With these deals in place, the future of MTGP is bigger than ever.

"We’re pushing the sport forward, creating new opportunities for fighters, and bringing world-class events to more fans worldwide.

"This is just the start of something special.”

Among the pick of the fights on the MTGP 93 card is Mo Abdurahman's bid to dethrone Dano O’Toole as MTGP welterweight champion.

The card will also feature some of Team Tieu's rising stars, who have flourished under the tutelage of renowned coaches David and Matthew Tieu.

The Tieu family have had a transformative effect on the sport of Muay Thai in London over the last few years.
