  • FINAL RESULT: Nathan Aspinall 6-4 Luke Humphries

What a nervy, nervy finish to the match - and the emotion is etched across the Stockport man's face.

You can see exactly what it means and a stunning comeback in that final.

In front of family and friends, too. Superb big man, absolutely superb.

He moves into the top four too - what a bonus!

  • YES HE CAN!!!!!!!!

NATHAN ASPINALL WINS IN MANCHESTER - HIS FIRST NIGHTLY WIN!!

  • Nathan Aspinall 5-4 Luke Humphries

Humphries just missed bullseye to pinch the leg with a 170!!

Both players are smiling, what a ridiculous shot that would've been!

Can Aspinall see it out now!?

  • Nathan Aspinall 5-4 Luke Humphries

No. His seventh dart is about four inches low of the T20.

But he's in the driving seat to win here!

  • Nathan Aspinall 5-4 Luke Humphries

    Six perfect darts from Aspinall.

Could he? It's been a stupidly incredible night. Could he!!???

  • Nathan Aspinall 5-4 Luke Humphries

An easy hold for Humphries with Aspinall back over 200.

Aspinall was already looking ahead to leg 10 where he has the darts to throw for the match.

But good from Humphries who must've added some doubt to the Aspinall throw.

  • Nathan Aspinall 5-3 Luke Humphries

Five on the spin - ASPINALL BREAKS!

He missed D16 for a superb 134 checkout but Humphries couldn't take out the 151 he left.

So that allows The Asp to come back for D16 and he checks it out with dart number two.

He needs one of the next three legs to win in Manchester!

  • Nathan Aspinall 4-3 Luke Humphries

Nervy, nervy darts from both men - BUT NATHAN ASPINALL GETS THE BREAK!

Two awful visits from both men as they scrambled to set-up.

Aspinall had left 66 with three poor darts in the visit prior. But he comes back for 25, 9 and pins the D16 superbly to move in front!

3-0 down to 4-3 up - what a turnaround and he has the darts in the next leg!

  • Nathan Aspinall 3-3 Luke Humphries

    It's all-square!!

'Come on!' is the Aspinall roar - he's back level from 3-0 down!

He missed two at D18 but Humphries couldn't score well to keep tabs with him. Aspinall comes back and needs just one at D18 on his next visit.

The tide has turned - but Humphries still has the darts!

  • Nathan Aspinall 2-3 Luke Humphries

    ASPINALL BREAKS!

Now we're cooking! And back on throw!

Aspinall misses D18 for a 10-dart leg for the break. Single 18 means he's on a tricky D9 but he finds it and is back within one.

What a turnaround in just a few minutes.

  • Nathan Aspinall 1-3 Luke Humphries

A big hold for Aspinall who is on the board in this match!

Humphries misses D20 - a poor attempt too - to break and move 4-0 ahead and into an unassailable lead you'd think.

That lets Aspinall back for D10 and he finds the very corner of the bed to get one leg back.

  • Nathan Aspinall 0-3 Luke Humphries

One-way traffic here and Humphries is already halfway to victory.

Aspinall's scoring deserts him and he was on 216 when Humphries missed two at D12.

He then throws in a 180 to leave 36 and he was celebrating it.

Before Humphries came back for D12 and pinned it with his first dart in hand.

  • Nathan Aspinall 0-2 Luke Humphries

    HUMPHRIES BREAKS!

Two-nil Humphries and again it's pretty comfortable.

Aspinall back on 203 so not going to pressure Humphries' 69, but Humphries takes it out anyway to double his advantage.

  • Nathan Aspinall 0-1 Luke Humphries

Humphries holds, and relatively comfortably too.

He misses D16 for a 101 checkout but Aspinall doesn't threaten the 156 he left.

So Humphries comes back and needs two for D8 to edge ahead.

  • Nathan Aspinall 0-0 Luke Humphries

    It's been some night.

And we still have the final to come.

Humphries to throw first, GAME ON!

  • Here they come

One final big reception for Nathan Aspinall as the crowd attempt to get him over the line.

More big smiles from him as he batters it down the walkway.

A big Price-like, double fisted punch of the air and 'COME ON' as he gets the crowd even louder during the Mr Brightside sing-a-long.

That atmosphere very quickly turns for Luke Humphries.

But he stops to sign a few autographs and salutes the crowd on his way up.

  • Total Bull

Luke Humphries wins the Bull - he'll throw first when they emerge shortly.

  • Final match odds

    • Nathan Aspinall 29/20
    • Luke Humphries 8/15

  • Nearly raised the roof

This was the D12 attempt from Littler in that semi final when on for a 9-darter.

At least he took it in good spirits and was able to have a laugh at himself for that shocker of an attempt - by his stupidly high standards anyway!

  • The Manchester final

The crowd are back in full voice as they all sing-a-long to Don't Look Back In Anger ahead of tonight's final.

And they'll be in full voice for the Stockport lad in this upcoming final.

    Nathan Aspinall vs Luke Humphries

  • Humphries dumps out Littler in Manchester!

    Luke Littler 4-6 Luke Humphries

Littler should've gone 4-2 up in a critical moment.

But his scoring deserted him towards the end and Humphries more than made him pay.

Three legs on the spin at 4-3 down, Humphries just had too much for the teenager in the end.

  • Luke Littler 4-5 Luke Humphries

    HUMPHRIES BREAKS!!

Wow, what a turn in events and he'll now throw for the match!

A missed dart at bullseye for Littler there after a pretty rubbish leg from both players and Humphries needed all three of his darts in the next visit to take out the 13 he had left.

Littler now needs to win the next two legs!

  • Luke Littler 4-4 Luke Humphries

Cracking leg from Humphries there, he was in control the whole way.

An even better two-dart checkout to take out the 85 he'd left. T15, D20 were both terrific darts and he makes this a best-of-3 shoot-out.

Both players taking their turn at bossing it.

  • Luke Littler 4-3 Luke Humphries

A couple more misses at double 10 for Littler, which will be of a concern slightly for him.

Thankfully for him, this time when hitting the single he follows it up with D5 to move ahead again.

  • Luke Littler 3-3 Luke Humphries

Sloppy stuff from both players but Humphries manages to edge it to level things up.

Littler misses two darts for it, including hitting D20 when looking for D5 to finish on 90. He came back for a dart at double 15 and missed that too.

Humphries takes out 70 and dodges a bullet.
