Champions League Chelsea
Enzo Maresca and the fans will know how important it is to make Champions League next season as it will do wonders for the club being back on the biggest club competition in the world and it will definitely put smiles back on Chelsea fans faces.
Not only that but it can also attract big names in the summer transfer window, and it's more than likely Chelsea will definitely be looking some new additions to their squad.
Chelsea's progress
The last two Chelsea season's haven't been good enough as they finished 12th in the 2022/23 season and sixth last season but they still spent entirety of last season in the bottom half.
This season has been a massive step up for them as they are so close to clinching Champions League football.
Enzo Maresca and their fans will be delighted with their club if they can win a major trophy and get Champions League football - not a bad season at all.
Maresca has already said if his side win the Conference league "It's a statement that Chelsea are back."
History makers?
Will Chelsea make history on the 28th if they win the Conference League?
Yes they will - they will be the only team to ultimately 'complete' Europe as winning this trophy means they will have won every European club competition.
Chelsea's remaining games
Newcastle (A) - 11/05/25
Man United (H) - 18/05/25
Nottingham Forest (A) - 25/05/25
Fiorentina/Real Betis - 28/05/25
Chelsea definitely have the hardest run in when it comes to the other teams competing for the Champions League in the Prem.
They know they cannot afford to drop any points in any of these games!
Terrific Tyrique
19 year old Tyrique George played incredibly well tonight.
He was constantly trying to take on his man and always get shots off.
And obviously his performance was topped off with a lovely well weighted pass to Dewsbury-Hall for the only goal of the game.
Some promising signs from the young English attacker!
When and where is the Conference League final?
Chelsea will be up against either Fiorentina or Real Betis in the final.
It will be held in Wroclaw, Poland at the Stadium Wroclaw on the 28th May 8pm Kick off.
Maresca's men
Enzo Maresca will be delighted with his teams performance across both semi final legs.
After the dominant 4-1 display in Sweden, he was allowed to bring out multiple academy names and rest his big players.
He will be hoping his team are ready for their massive trip to St. James Park this Sunday.
Five in a row
Chelsea have picked up form at the best time of the season as they have won five games in a row now as they push for that Champions League spot in the Premier League.
Dewsbury-Hall post game
"One more game to go, hopefully we can lift that trophy
"It was nice to get the goal
"It would mean everything to win this competition
"It's not easy, we deserve a lot of credit."
Chelsea 1-0 Djurgarden - Full time
And that's it all over!
A European final awaits for Chelsea but their opponent is yet to be confirmed - Fiorentina/Real Betis - as the other semi final looks like it's going to extra time.
Chelsea have done the job easily - as it has been throughout the whole competition.
They will have a chance at a major trophy this season and will be the first team to attempt to win all three European trophies.
Some great performances from Chelsea youngsters in this game including George, Walsh and Dewsbury-Hall.
Credit to Djugarden as they didn't stop going for a goal and their fans are still singing as they have been all game - you'd think they're through to the final.

James pulls out a beauty of a pass to George on the left who brings the ball down with a great first touch.
He cuts it back to Dewsbury-Hall and he gets his shot horribly wrong as he scuffs it wide.

62. HOW HAS THAT NOT GONE IN THEN!?
Some brilliant play from Sancho on the right driving at the fullback who puts a great ball into George and he somehow misses an open goal header.

He finds himself on the left side of the Djurgarden's penalty area and finds space for a shot but this one just blazes over the bar.
