PGA Championship 2025 LIVE RESULT: Scottie Scheffler WINS third major title with a commanding FIVE shot victory

SCOTTIE Scheffler WON the PGA Championship to pick up a third major of his career.
Scottie Scheffler is now half way to the golf Grand Slam, and won the tournament with a FIVE shot victory over Bryson DeChambeau and Davis Riley.
Jon Rahm made a daring comeback in the final round, and was level with Scheffler at one point, but the Spanish player was unable to keep his momentum going throughout the entire round.
Bryson DeChambeau finished well on the final day, and shared second place with Davis Riley.

Hole 14: Xander Schauffele (-3), Sam Burns (-3)
Anything you can do...
Burns rolls an eagle putt from 60ft to within 10ft and follows it up with a good putt to secure his birdie.
Likewise for Schauffele, who was off the back of the green and pitched to 6ft and knocks his birdie putt in.
Big hitters arriving
More and more pictures coming through now of the big players near the top of the leaderboard arriving.
Bryson DeChambeau (7pm tee time) the latest to be shown striding around ahead of his start in around 90 minutes time.
Scheffler still a couple of hours away from getting his final round going.
Hole 12: Rory McIlroy (+2)
Four pars on the spin for Rory after another 4, this time on the 12th hole.
Again though, he looked like pinching a birdie with a long putt which just dribbles by.
Cheers from the punters who thought that was headed in and a smile from McIlroy who I think thought similar.
Hole 11: Rory McIlroy (+2)
Par for McIlroy on 11th as he again had an outside chance at birdie.
His drive found the middle of the fairway but his approach shot came up well, well short, though did find the front of the green.
It left a 45ft for birdie which he rolled up to 3ft before rolling it in.
Hole 11: Xander Schauffele (-2), Sam Burns (-2)
Pars for the two players leading the on-course lot just now - but still trailing Scheffler by nine strokes.
If they can find another birdie coming in, that'll take them into the top 20. For now at least....
Latest leaderboard
No player out on the course is currently better than -2 in the leaderboard at present.
Five players sit there with Sam Burns, Xander Schauffele and Thorbjørn Olesen all well into the middle of their rounds.
Joaquin Niemann has birdied his first hole to move to -2 as well. Again, he struggles in a Major while tearing it up on LIV....
Hole 10: Xander Schauffele (-2), Sam Burns (-2)
Seems a little mad that these two are back level with one another given how well Burns has played to get into this position.
But as he pars the 10th, Schauffele rolls in a birdie putt on the par-5 and moves to -2 for the tournament.
Hole 9: Rory McIlroy (+2)
McIlroy ends his front nine level for the day after a 4 at the 9th hole.
He's had to scramble a fair bit so far today - particularly early on - and his score reflects how he's playing so far.
Hole 9: Xander Schauffele (-1), Sam Burns (-2)
The Sam Burns charge has hit a bump in the road.
A bogey on the 9th meaning he finishes a very impressive front nine at -4.
The gloss taken off with that 5 on the par 4, though...
Hole 8: Rory McIlroy (+2)
BIRDIE for McIlroy!
He doesn't seem to playing too well, nor too badly at the minute which is summed up as he now moves back to level for the day.
This time it's a 3 at the par-4 8th hole and he's slowly turning his round around after a sluggish start.
Hole 8: Xander Schauffele (-1), Sam Burns (-3)
An extraordinary round from Sam Burns continues as he birdies the 8th to move to -3 for his round.
He's now -5 for the first 8 holes and is now inside the top 20.
But that's overshadowed by an EAGLE hole out from off the green from Schauffele!
From +1 to -1 for him and they've played the last two holes for a combined -6 between them!
Hole 7: Rory McIlroy (+3)
This just about sums up the week for McIlroy.
Decent drive for length but missing the fairway. As soon as he makes contact with the approach he's screaming for it to sit but it bounces through the green.
It's a par 5 though so he's looking for an up-and-down for birdie. He plays his third shot to 10ft before an absolutely brutal lip-out for birdie, leaves him with a tap-in for par.
Hole 7: Xander Schauffele (+1), Sam Burns (-2)
Superb from Sam Burns who follows what Fleetwood just did and eagles the 7th hole!
A terrific three on that par 5 puts him to -2 for the week, with -4 in his round alone.
Up into a T-23 position too. Schauffele birdies it to move to +1.
Hole 6: Rory McIlroy (+3)
Nearly another McIlroy birdie.
His tee shot on the par 3 doesn't cut as he intends and he finds the dip to the left of the green.
Taking putter, he plays it at quite the pace but it's tracking the whole way, coming back out off the pin and sitting a few feet away. Tap-in par but if it had missed that pin, it might've left quite the third shot!
Hole 7: Tommy Fleetwood (+1), Collin Morikawa (+2)
EAGLE FOR FLEETWOOD!
What a turnaround in this group - but what an INCREDIBLE stroke of luck for Tommy Fleetwood!
His second shot into the par-5 seventh hole is headed for the water green-side but looks to hit a ROCK and launches into the air, spins back onto the green and leaves him 12ft for eagle. A big, swinging putt drops and he moves to -1.
On the contrary, Morikawa bogeys the hole to move to +3.
Hole 6: Xander Schauffele (+2), Sam Burns (E)
Two more pars for this group as they both card a 3 on the 6th hole.
Hole 5: Rory McIlroy (+3)
BIRDIE for Rory!
What a difference when playing from the fairway! He pipes a drive right down the centre of the fairway - 50 yards by his playing partner.
That leaves a flick of a wedge into this green, where he spins his ball back to 6ft from the pin. A good putt finds the bottom of the cup and he's back to +1 for the day.
Hole 6: Tommy Fleetwood (+3), Collin Morikawa (+2)
Fleetwood back where he started as he moves back to +3 after a birdie on the 5th.
He follows up with a par on the par-3, 6th hole.
Back-to-back pars for Morikawa.
Hole 5: Xander Schauffele (+2), Sam Burns (E)
A couple of pars for the group on the 5th hole.
Burns remains the highest placed player on the course just now at level par, in a tie for 36th at the minute.
