Thomas Muller helps raise £175,000 for charity as he takes his mum out on golf day… despite his broken thumb
The Bayern Munich striker has recently had an operation on his right thumb, meaning he had to share playing duties

THOMAS MULLER took a back seat on the sporting scene at the weekend - as he took on the role of caddie for his MUM.
The Bayern Munich striker took to the golf course in Germany to take part in a charity tournament, complete with a broken thumb.
Because of the injury, Muller was forced to hand over his clubs to mother Klaudia, with the footballer and keen golfer on hand to offer some top tips.
The 27-year-old helped raise a whopping £175,000 for the charity Young Wings, who help children cope with the loss of a parent or other loved one.
Muller underwent surgery on his right thumb earlier this month, but is expected to join up with the rest of his Bayern team-mates for pre-season training next week.
Muller had an up and down season with Bundesliga champions Bayern last season under Carlo Ancelotti.
