Pulev is one of Bulgaria's most popular sportsmen and has almost 500,000 likes on his Facebook page.

The undercard for the intriguing fight is also warming up nicely.

Frank Buglioni and Callum Johnson have been added in a scrap for the the British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight titles.

Last year Buglioni won the British light-heavyweight title Hosea Burton in spectacular style stopping his counterpart late into the twelve round to take home the strap.

Buglioni said to Sky Sports: "It's another great show I'm on, I won the British title on the Joshua versus Molina undercard and now I'll win the Commonwealth title on the Joshua vs Pulev undercard.

"Every bit of silverware I can grab along the way, I will do. The British and Commonwealth Titles go together nicely."

Joshnson was equally as excited to feature on the Box Office card, adding: "To be on Joshua's undercard is massive," said Johnson. "I'm looking forward to being a part of the event, it'll be an honour to box on such a big stage.

"It's a well-renowned title, every fighter wants to win the British title along the way. To be fighting for it on such a high-profile card is an added bonus."

Lenroy Thomas and Dave Allen will rematch for the Commonwealth heavyweight title and Kal Yafai will defend his WBA Super-Flyweight title against unbeaten mandatory challenger Sho Ishida.

Tickets for the event are priced at £40, £60, £80, £100, £200, £300 and £500 – with VIP tickets priced at £1500, and can be purchased through StubHub.
