England avoided the dreaded whitewash by drawing the fourth test in Melbourne and will now look to get a first test victory Down Under since 2011.

When are the Ashes tests?

The fourth test of the series gets underway on January 4, or late on January 3 for UK residents, at the SCG.

The series concludes in Sydney on Monday January 8, and after that the ODIs start.
