Ex-England chief Roy Hodgson was forced to call in replacement Julian Speroni at The Hawthorns.

But the late change leaves Palace with just five substitutes after the boss named just six on the bench for the game.

Scott Dann and James Tomkins are not in the matchday squad, despite travelling with the rest of the squad.

Defender Dann is reported to be ill and Tomkins is allegedly injured.

The Eagles will be able to go level with their hosts if they can secure a win at The Hawthorns.

Nonetheless, new boss Alan Pardew will be hoping to kick-off his West Brom career with a win.
