Roy Hodgson finds his doppelganger in Swansea steward as Crystal Palace travel to South Wales
The ex-England boss posed for a photo with the steward ahead of the Premier League clash against Swansea
FANS were seeing double as Roy Hodgson posed for a photograph with a steward on Saturday afternoon.
The Palace boss posed for photos with his dead-ringer, retired computer engineer, Clayton Davis, who also works as steward for Swansea.
If fact, the two look so similar, they also confused a Father Christmas working in Swansea town centre!
Mr Davis, 73, said: "Everyone has been saying that I look like Roy Hodgson and one of the photographers told me to go on the pitch and have a photo with him and come and talk to him.
"He never said anything but he understood what the joke was because he'd been into Swansea today with his grandson and took him to see Father Christmas.
"The Father Christmas he saw is also a steward here, so he said to Roy, 'how's it going Clayton?' and Roy was left all confused.
"Someone then explained to him that he had a lookalike in Swansea. He was very nice and we shook hands and had our pictures taken."
Once he had strolled across the pitch, Hodgson marched towards the Liberty Stadium steward.
After sharing a joke and a handshake, the pair posed for a photograph together as witnesses watched in amazement.

The ex-England boss appeared happy to partake in the joke ahead of kick-off in Wales.
Despite the steward rocking a high vis jacket, and Hodgson wearing a suave suit - the two looked almost identical.
Viewers were sent into meltdown on Twitter when the image of the two men surfaced.
One fan said: "Stunning resemblance between Roy Hodgson and that gentleman."
While another added: "There's only 2 Roy Hodgsons, there's only 2 Roy Hodgsons"
But jokes aside, Hodgson's side will be desperate for a win against the struggling Swansea.
Swansea's steward had previously caused a stir after fans noticed his uncanny resemblance to the 70-year-old.
And fans were delighted to see the pair finally met face-to-face.
