TONY BELLEW has revealed he has agreed to fight Oleksandr Usyk in the UK - and claims he has a better record that Deontay Wilder.

Usyk, 31, is considered one of the top pound-for-pound fighters following his unanimous points decision win against Murat Gassiev in the World Boxing Super Series final.

He subsequently called out former WBC champ Bellew, with the Brit vowing he would "chin him" should they face each other inside the squared circle.

Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, the Everton fan said: "We have spoke and it's agreed that it will happen in the UK and we've agreed on the timescale for it to happen."

And it's not just Bellew who fancies a bout against Usyk, with Brit star Anthony Joshua eyeing up a match-up against the Ukrainian great.

Bellew then went on to slate WBC heavyweight champion Wilder - insisting he has a far superior CV than the 2008 Olympic bronze medallist.

He added: "Technically, he's a windmill artist. But ultimately, he has the equaliser – he has the power. That is why people tune in to watch him.

"He’s the most unknown heavyweight champion of all time.

“It’s unbelievable considering the run that he’s had – I think he’s close to nearly 40 or 50 fights. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

"I mean, I have a better CV than him and I’m not even a heavyweight.

"You know, I’ve got two wins over a former unified cruiserweight champion of the world and a former heavyweight champion of the world, in David Haye.

“My victories over Haye are better than anyone he’s beaten. That’s a fact, that’s not even up for debate.

“David Haye’s CV is better than anyone.

"Let's put this into context. You've got a WBC American heavyweight champion and no one knows who he is. The promotional and managerial job done with Deontay Wilder is really a crime.

"He should be a global name. He's a man who knocks guys out and it's just sad that people walking down the likes of New York City don't know who he is."

Bellew also hit out at Frank Warren after the Hall of Famer claimed that Joshua turned down a deal to fight Wilder.

Warren insisted that he even saw the contract sent to AJ - with Bellew immediately calling him a liar.

The Bomber tweeted: "When you work with honest men and decent individuals you always know where you stand!

"I feel for the people especially in the boxing business who have to deal with out and out liars and fraudsters! Careful who you choose young fighters is all I can say.."
