FIRST Andros Townsend, now Ricardo Pereira.
Manchester City succumbed to another stunner as they slumped to their second straight defeat.
And the champions’ title defence is looking really rocky right now as they have fallen to THIRD.
After losing at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday following Townsend’s wondergoal, they slipped up here thanks to Pereira’s piledriver nine minutes from time.
And City are not only now seven points behind league leaders Liverpool, they have also been leapfrogged by free-scoring Tottenham in the table.
City actually started slickly, showing no signs of a hangover from that shock loss to Palace, and taking lead after only 14 minutes.
Aymeric Laporte was given time to walk the ball out of the back, before finding Sergio Aguero.
The City striker looked to have taken a heavy touch but he quickly recovered to thread through to Bernardo Silva, who had got in between Ricardo Pereira and Harry Maguire.
And the Portuguese made the rest look easy, as he controlled and then slipped past Kasper Schmeichel for his seventh goal of the season.
Leicester, though, were level just five minutes later as they exposed City’s defensive flaws down both flanks.
With Danilo - who had replaced the axed Kyle Walker - taking a tumble in a tackle with Ben Chilwell, James Maddison found Jamie Vardy down the left.
And he cut inside before whipping in a perfect cross for Marc Albrighton, who got in behind Fabian Delph at the back post and cleverly headed back across Ederson into the far corner.
Aguero could have put City back ahead but spooned over from six yards, although Leroy Sane’s squared ball was just behind him.
But the visitors were all at sea at the back and Leicester finished the first half with FOUR fine chances.
First, Bernardo inexplicably passed straight to Vardy, who was through on goal but struck straight at Ederson.
The majestic Maddison then saw a powerful effort kept out by the keeper.
City were again indebted to Ederson for blocking Hamza Choudhury’s shot at the back post.
And just before the break, Maddison flicked wide after Chilwell again got the better of Danilo.
Maddison was Leicester’s liveliest forward again in the second half, firing just wide from 25 yards.
The England new boy then released Vardy through on goal, but Laporte snuffed out the striker with a crucial covering tackle.
City were struggling to create anything themselves, with Harry Maguire and Wes Morgan clearing everything which came their way.
And Leicester finally got the second goal they deserved nine minutes from time.

The Foxes won a corner after a Maguire long ball to Pereira was knocked out by Laporte.
And though Albrighton’s cross did not beat first man Sane, his header fell to Pereira on the edge of the box, and he took a touch before powering past Ederson.
Things then went from bad to worse for City, as Delph was shown a red card for following through in a tackle on match-winner Pereira.
