OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER is ready to ramp up unity at Manchester United by reintroducing Sir Alex Ferguson's famous quiz night on team stopovers.
The Norwegian, 45, will also ask his players to spend more time in each other's company at the team hotel before away games.
Under the management of Jose Mourinho, most of the stars would retreat to their rooms after dinner.
Legendary boss Sir Alex was a massive fan of general knowledge quizzes and would regularly pit his wits up against his players, including Solskjaer, to try and boost team morale.
A United insider said: "The difference in the mood around Carrington is like night and day since Ole game in.
"We've even seen Ryan Giggs pay us a visit, who seemed to keep his distance when he left and Mourinho was here.
"Ole really wants the players to stick together and doesn't want them in their hotel rooms playing on their tablets or on social media.
"Mike Phelan is back and he and Sir Alex used to love quiz night and were fiercely competitive.
"So the lads have heard they need to start brushing up on their general knowledge. It sounds just the job."
It's understood staff have quickly rediscovered the feel good factor following the return of the baby faced assassin.
The source added: "It's been like a return to the good old days - even David Gill has been in the restaurant and seen grinning from ear to ear with Richard Arnold.
"Ole takes the trouble to say good morning and hi to most people and that goes a long way around here."
The Norwegian boss invited Sir Alex back to United's training ground ahead of their 4-1 win over Bournemouth.
When asked about his contact with the 77-year-old, Solskjaer said: "I have been in touch with the gaffer quite a bit.
"I don't know what input he had but when I got the call, but of course, I text the boss.
"I am going to enjoy a nice cup of tea back at his house and sit down to discuss a few ideas. There's no one-one better to get advice from.
"I had the best teacher. The boss is and will always be the best, so my management involves around what I learned from him."
And the interim boss admitted the club legend gave them a huge boost before his third consecutive win.
The Reds have been knuckling down at Carrington this week ahead of Saturday's FA Cup clash against Reading.
