Kell Brook hammers Amir Khan and brands him a ‘media whore’ for his celebrity lifestyle ahead of mega grudge fight

KELL BROOK has hammered "media whore" Amir Khan for his celebrity lifestyle and compared him to Kim Kardashian after he started talking up their long-awaited grudge fight.
Khan has always looked down his nose at the Sheffield star and refused to fight him while he chased Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
But, after missing out on those fights and suffering public embarrassment over a leaked sex tape and ongoing row between his wife and his family, Khan is now interested in the huge fight.

Brook has already got a cheeky nickname for his old enemy and found his appearance on breakfast TV to openly discuss his personal problems laughable.
Brook said: “It’s comical. He is Amir Khadashian.
“He has so much drama around him, he is in the paper all the time for the wrong reasons. It’s all good, it’s funny.
“I have heard he is a bit skint and has problems with his dad.
“I am hearing his wife wants a big fancyhouse.
“I think he’s after a big-money fight and he knows he would get done in, but he doesn’t mind getting done in for money. I think he wants it now.”
Brook – who defends his IBF welterweight title against Errol Spence on May 27 - reckons Khan is piggybacking on his homecoming fight at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane.

Khan has not fought since his brutal May 2016 knock-out loss to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez but has kept his name in the headlines with out-of-ring problems and fantasy talk of a fight with UFC star Conor McGregor.
Khan is even letting Spence train at his Bolton gym to prepare for his title shot and Brook is sick of hearing his name until it’s to confirm a fight with him.
He said: “It’s annoying but that’s what he does. When Conor McGregor has something going on he starts telling the world he wants to fight him.
“He is a media whore, he wants it.
“I am sat here and I get asked questions about him all the time and it does my head it. It grinds me.
“It’s just a fight that I don’t need an alarm on my phone to wake me up for.
“I would be absolutely buzzing every single day with all the build-up. We would be at each other.
“It would be a really fun fight to have. The paying public and the fans want to see it and I just want to give it to them.
“I have heard he might fancy it but he has said stuff like that before.”
