TYSON FURY stunned boxing fans with an incredible recovery as he was rose from the canvas having been floored in the final round with a brutal shot.

In what was a sensational 12th, Fury was dropped by a Wilder combination that ended with a clubbing left-hook.

It was one of the most amazing and dramatic final rounds in heavyweight history Fury.

However, the Brit rose from the canvas to recover and see the final bell in what was an incredible heavyweight title fight.

Boxing fans reacted to the amazing scenes on Twitter.

One said: "How did Fury get up from this! Amazing grit and determination."

Another said: "How on earth did Fury get up from that?! Then the temerity to drop his hands and call him back in."

Despite Fury's excellent performance the Brit saw his efforts earn him a draw after a split decision was announced.

Wilder's round nine and twelve knockdown's meant he did enough to hold onto his title - despite Fury seemingly building a commanding lead.

After the fight Wilder claimed his two knockdowns of Fury was enough to see him earn a victory - much to the disagreement of those watching on.

Similarly Fury said he thought he should have won the fight while he credited Wilder as the second best heavyweight, behind himself.

After the fight the pair announced they would both be open to a rematch next year.
