Tyson Fury brands Anthony Joshua ‘chicken’ as he dances around ring after draw with Deontay Wilder

ANTHONY JOSHUA insisted he was going to watch sleep through Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder but it would have given him nightmares.

The WBA, WBO and IBF champ said business commitments meant he could not be ringside to see the shock draw.

And he was the only loser on the night after missing out on a sensational showing and getting a tongue lashing from Fury.

“Where are you Joshua - you chicken?” Fury roared into the mic after he and the Bronze Bomber put on a supershow.

“We are the two best heavyweights in the world right now. I am No1 and he is No2. We had the balls to put it all on the line.”

But the actions of Wilder and the Gypsy King spoke louder than any words

WBC champ Wilder was ungainly and amateur in his technique but he has life-changing power that twice dropped Fury and almost knocked him clean out.

And Fury doing 36 minutes, after going three years without a competitive fight, was a sensation. All of the old skill and theatrics were on show.

He is a genuine freak of nature and was so close to earning a points win.

The rematch seems certain now and that would mean AJ does not get a chance to become undisputed king until close to 2020.

This fight was a shock success to many at ringside. The attendance, atmosphere and Fury performance will be remembered for a long time.

Joshua has a Wembley date on April 13 that will most likely be against the winner of Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte.

But until he faces one of Saturday night's undefeated giants, he will be the one missing out.
