Liverpool lining up sensational £35m swoop for Callum Wilson and Aaron Cresswell
Anfield chief Jurgen Klopp begins his summer transfer plans with Premier League pair
LIVERPOOL will launch a £35million bid to sign Callum Wilson and Aaron Cresswell.
Bournemouth striker Wilson would cost £20m and West Ham defender Cresswell £15m.
Wilson, 24, who cost just £3m from Coventry, started the season with five goals in six league games before a serious knee injury. But he has now returned to action, alerting a number of top clubs.
The forward was thought to be on the verge of an England call-up until his setback.
And Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to strengthen his goalscoring options, with doubt over Christian Benteke’s future and Danny Ings injured.
The Merseyside giants also want a left-back and Cresswell, 26, has played consistently well this term.
West Ham want to keep their top players but £15m would be a good return on the £4m they paid Ipswich in 2014.
