Soon-to-be Everton boss Ronald Koeman’s record against fierce Merseyside rivals Liverpool makes for truly atrocious reading
Dutchman has an horrific record against cross-town rivals during his Southampton days, losing three of his five games

RONALD KOEMAN is set to be unveiled as Everton's new boss, after the club agreed to pay Southampton £5million to tease away their manager.
While Toffees fans have voiced their excitement at the move - after the Dutch boss, 53, led Saints to a superb sixth in the Premier League last season - there is one reason for fans to be wary.
Namely, his shoddy record against Everton's Merseyside Liverpool.
During his two highly successful seasons on the south coast, Koeman played 91 games in all competitions, winning an impressive 44.
The Dutchman oversaw 17 draws and 30 losses too, but it will be his record against his potential new employers' rivals that will be the biggest concern.
In five matches against Liverpool across all competitions, Saints won only once - their dramatic 3-2 win, having been 2-0 down in 2015-16 - while they've drawn one and lost three.
Of those losses, one was the 6-1 Capital One Cup humiliation at St Mary's, early on in the 2015-16, after a Divock Origi hat-trick.

Koeman has only lost three times against two other teams in the world - Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
Fortunately for the Dutchman, he managed to win another three against the Eagles, to redeem himself.
Outside of that horror stat, there is plenty of room for optimism within the Toffees ranks.
Not only did Koeman lead Southampton to sixth in the Premier League last season, but Saints have also accumulated the sixth most points in the Premier League since the Dutchman took over the reins in 2014.
The south coast outfit's 123 points is behind only Tottenham (134), Man United (136), Chelsea (137), Man City (145) and Arsenal (146).
They even sit above Liverpool and Premier League title-winning Leicester (both 122).
Everton - Koeman's potential new home - bagged only 94 points in that stint under Roberto Martinez.
Since the 2014-15 campaign kicked off, Southampton also have the sixth highest amount of wins on 36.
Only Man City (43), Arsenal (42), Man United (39), Tottenham and Chelsea (both 38) have more.
So, in conclusion, what can Everton expect from their incoming chief?
