Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney hailed as England’s best player of the last decade ahead of Euro 2016 opener against Russia
Red Devils and Three Lions captain pledges his future to Old Trafford following high praise from new boss Jose Mourinho

JOSE MOURINHO claims that Wayne Rooney has been the country’s best player for the past ten years.
And Roo has told Manchester United’s new boss he will never join another Premier League club.
Mourinho paid his tribute after confirmation of the striker’s testimonial against Everton at Old Trafford on August 3.
It will be Mourinho’s first game in England as United boss. He said: “Wayne is and has been England’s best player for over a decade and this game will be a fitting tribute to everything he has achieved.”
Rooney, 30, said: “I am happy to say I will never play for another Premier League club.
“For me, there could not be a more special testimonial match. Manchester United and Everton are the only clubs I have played for as a pro.”

Rooney has been at United for 12 seasons now, scoring 245 goals in 520 appearances.
The Three Lions’ skipper will lead England out for their Euro 2016 opener against Russia on Saturday, winning his 112th cap in the process.
And Mourinho is set to follow in Roy Hodgson’s steps by deploying Rooney in midfield once his Old Trafford reign gets underway.
