GARETH BALE and his Wales team-mates could not wipe the smiles of their faces as they prepared to face Belgium.

That is no doubt because Chris Coleman's team are now the last of the home nations left at Euro 2016 after England flopped AGAIN.

The Dragons celebrated the Three Lions' defeat to Iceland in wild fashion as they jumped around at their training base in Dinard.

Wales beat England to top spot in Group B - but were no doubt enjoying their rivals' failure after England's last-gasp victory over the Dragons in their second group game.

And Wales hit the training ground today with extra wind in their sails as they prepare for their first quarter-final since the 1958 World Cup.

One man they hope can shake off an injury is captain Ashley Williams.

The Swansea defender could barely move his arm in the second half of Wales' last-16 victory over Northern Ireland.

But boss Coleman believes that Williams will be fit for the clash against Belgium - who the Dragons were undefeated against in two qualification games for the the tournament.

Coleman said: "We think it was when he fell and landed on his hand with a straight arm which had an impact on his shoulder. But he is okay.

"Ashley will be fine. It sounds better actually, that he would play with a dislocated shoulder - and he would if we let him. But it was not.

"It's probably a bit more sore today than yesterday because of the timing, 48 hours after the game. We will get him on the grass as soon as we can.

"I would not say he was a worry or a doubt, but we know we have to look after him. I would be surprised if he does not make the game."
