Manchester United look to bring Dutch kid Hossein Zamani over from the famed Ajax academy

Exciting teenage winger has skill to burn, two good feet, a powerful shot - and reports say he can bend it like Beckham!

MANCHESTER UNITED'S new scout Henny de Regt is wasting no time in securing young talent from Holland with winger Hossein Zamani the latest target.

United are already closing in on Feyenoord's Dutch teenager striker Tatith Chong, aged 16, who has been scouted by the Red Devils since playing for Feyenoord's Under 17 side at the Premier Cup the club's Carrington training complex last summer.

Now promising 14-year-old Zamani is on de Regt's radar.

Barney Chilton, long-serving editor of Red News, has been running his eye over him.

He notes that Zamani is a product of the famed Ajax academy and that reports suggest that with the ball at his feet, Zamani likes to cut inside and get into the box and create a chance for himself.

The teenager boasts two good feet and can also beat his man on the by-line and cross accurately.

Zamani was scouted and recruited by Ajax entirely from playing on the streets in his hometown of De Bilt.

He was proclaimed 'Best player of the tournament' at Torneo Alpi Apuane where he performed well against Sevilla and Chelsea.

Chilton says Zamani’s dribbling is fantastic and that he has a powerful shot with a David Beckham-like tendency to put curve on the ball. He takes free kicks without using too much power, preferring to bamboozle the keeper with dip and swerve.

The youngster is also said to have excellent acceleration and a good first touch.

Off the ball, Zamani is also intelligent and knows exactly when and when not to make a run to get away from his marker. All in all, his technique is mature for a 14-year-old and he’s very composed in front goal.

Chilton says Zamani could improve his sense of awareness but that should develop in time with the right coaching. Nor is he a particularly good header of the ball.

But take note, Jose Mourinho. He he does track back, although he will be the first to admit his defending is a little weak.

All in all he appears to have the ability to become a decent Manchester United player.
