Southampton set to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in £12m deal

SOUTHAMPTON are set to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in a £12million deal.
The young Dane has fallen further down the pecking order at the Allianz Arena after Renato Sanches' arrival.
And Hojbjerg's agent Soren Lerby told told Danish newspaper his client will move to the south coast.
He said: "Yes, I can confirm that Pierre will switch to Southampton."
Hojbjerg, 20, has had loan spells at Augsburg and Schalke but wants a permanent deal to continue his development.
The promising playmaker has already won 15 caps for Denmark and would fit the Saints' determination to rely on youth.

Speaking about leaving Bayern, Hojbjerg insisted: "I want to leave and find the right place to develop. I have to find something that suits me, not necessarily a top club, but a place where there is perspective."
Saints boss Claude Puel is in the market for a midfielder following the sale of Victor Wanyama, 25, to Tottenham for £11m.
Should Hojbjerg arrive at St Mary's Stadium as expected, he will join Nathan Redmond, 22, at St Mary's.
The pacey England Under-21s winger agreed a five-year contract after a £10m transfer from relegated Norwich in June.
