Leicester star Kelechi Iheanacho's goal at Wembley today had immense meaning, it seems.
That is because each of the last four goals scored in the esteemed ground have been by African players.
Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a brace in last season's final.
And of course, Hakim Ziyech recorded the winner for Chelsea yesterday before Iheanacho's strike
RODGERS REACTS
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers shared his thoughts after the Foxes' qualification to the FA Cup final.
Rodgers told BT Sport: "It's amazing, obviously the club have been waiting a long time to get to an FA Cup final, it's a trophy that's really desired by the supporters.
"And I thought we deserved it today, I though we defended very strong.
"Southampton, as we've seen all season, they can score great goals. They have players that can really hurt you"
IHEANACHO REACTS
Leicester star Kelechi Iheanacho hailed his team and Jamie Vardy for the result.
Iheanacho said: “We did it together, the team. It’s not a one-man show.
"I’m happy with the way we stuck together and that I was in the right place at the right time.
"The partnership between Jamie and me is outstanding - he’s got the pace, he’s got everything. He’s a great player and he set up the goal. I think the FA Cup loves me, and I love the FA Cup!
“I’ve been unlucky the past few years, but it’s working out really well now and I need to keep working hard to go to the next level. I can’t wait for the final - wow, it’ll be amazing”
GETTY IMAGES LONG TIME COMING
As mentioned below, Leicester have qualified for their first FA Cup final in 52 years.
That is the third longest gap in the competition's history.
It took Portsmouth 69 years and Cardiff a whopping 81 to return to Wembley Stadium.
