HE won the Champions League and Euro 2016 this year, but Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to be fighting fit when Real Madrid attempt to win their first La Liga title since 2012 next season.
And who better to get the adrenaline pumping than Mr UFC himself, ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor?
Fresh off the back of a luxury holiday in Ibiza following Portugal’s win over France earlier this month, Ronaldo made a surprise visit to McGregor’s gym in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
The Irishman is preparing for his highly-anticipated rematch against Nate Diaz on August 20 and is currently embarking on a gruelling training regime.
But Ronaldo showed he would also be able to stand toe-to-toe with any warrior in the octagon as both men posed in fighting stances for the camera.
Ronaldo , adding the caption: “Great to see you bro.”

And McGregor was equally impressed, : “My brother Ronaldo dropped by the gym today!
“He is an animal. Thank you @cristiano, much respect! I will see you for that Forbes number 1 spot next year.”
Ronaldo, who also paid a visit to pop star Jennifer Lopez, is also getting ready to start his pre-season training, but has no chance of being fit in time for Real’s UEFA Super Cup final against Sevilla on August 9 as he recovers from a knee injury.
