Jeremy Menez suffers gruesome ear injury during Bordeaux pre-season friendly against Lorient
French forward had his ear chopped in half after a clash with Lorient's Didier Ndong

JEREMY MENEZ suffered a nasty looking injury when his ear was torn apart in a pre-season friendly for Bordeaux.
The French forward, who had just signed from AC Milan, only came on after an hour against Lorient on Wednesday.

But the 29-year-old only lasted 15 minutes after a collision with Lorient's Didier Ndong left him with his right ear hanging off.
Bordeaux medical staff did their best to patch Menez's ear together again, but he had to leave the pitch and may now require surgery.
The Ligue 1 club released a statement on Twitter saying that the striker may need to have surgery to repair his ear.
It's certainly not the start Menez would've wanted to life with his new club.
Bordeaux ran out 3-1 winners in the friendly in the town of Sarzeau on Wednesday night.
