Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka prepares a move for Brazil international defender Fabio
Cardiff City's former Manchester United man targeted by Boro and boss admits he will allow a goalkeeper to leave

MIDDLESBROUGH hope to make Brazil international Fabio their latest summer signing.
The newly-promoted Premier League side have already brought in nine players since sealing their return to the top-flight in May.
Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes, World Cup winning striker Alvaro Negredo and ex-Aston Villa shotstopper Brad Guzan are among those to arrive at the Riverside.
And now Boro boss Aitor Karanka has targeted former Manchester United defender Fabio as the next addition to his squad.
The 26-year-old only has a year left on his contract with Championship side Cardiff City, whom he has made 68 appearances.
The full back, who has won two caps for his country, spent five seasons at United before departing Old Trafford in 2014.
He also had a spell on loan with Queens Park Rangers in 2013.

Meanwhile, Karanka is still deciding which of his goalkeepers to allow to leave the club.
The arrivals of Valdes and Guzan mean the Spanish boss has four senior goalkeepers to choose from and he admits one will have to leave.
A number of interested clubs have already contacted Boro about the availability of Dimi Konstantopoulos, who has impressed as No.1 over the past two seasons, and Tomas Mejias.
Karanka, however, is still deciding which man to let go.
He said: “I don’t know which keeper. Once again, we need to take the best decision for everybody, the three keepers who will be here and for the keeper who will leave.
“At the end, once again, I want and I hope that everybody will be happy.”
