But claims City are far from finished in the transfer market, with Guardiola hopeful of signing Coric from Dinamo Zagreb this weekend.

The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the finest young talents in Europe and was an unused substitute for Croatia at Euro 2016.

Liverpool are believed to be interested in Coric, with West Ham also holding talks with his club in June.

But the attacking midfielder will instead move to the Etihad following lengthy negotiations, taking City’s spending over £160m.

Meanwhile, Claudio Bravo’s highly-anticipated move to England grows closer as Joe Hart edges towards a City exit.

SunSport understands Guardiola will not sanction a loan deal for the England international and is looking for permanent buyers instead.

But City will have to stick with Argentine veteran Willy Caballero for a while longer, with Bravo set to feature for Barcelona in their La Liga opener against Real Betis.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is out with a knee injury, and Barca are yet to move for a replacement in Ajax and Holland ace Jasper Cillessen.
