West Bromwich line up Roy Hodgson for shock return to The Hawthorns if Pulis steps down
Former England manager waiting in the wings in case Tony Pulis does decide to quit over transfer issues

ROY HODGSON is in line for a shock return to West Bromwich Albion if Tony Pulis quits.
Former England boss Hodgson has been sounded out about a second spell at The Hawthorns as the WBA board make contingency plans in case current manager Pulis decides to pull the plug on them.
Pulis is unhappy with the Midlands club’s relative lack of activity during the summer transfer window and while Albion are now adamant he is staying on there are lingering concerns that he will eventually resign.
Hodgson, 69, had a successful 15-month stint in charge before taking the England job in April 2012 and it is believed he wants to return to management.
