Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid superstar set for £215million five-year deal ruling out Manchester United return
Portuguese superstar set to earn a staggering £20million per year as he closes in on huge long-term contract

CRISTIANO RONALDO is closing in on a new five-year Real Madrid deal, according to reports.
The Portuguese superstar has long been coveted by former club Manchester United, but he is now set to remain in Spain for the rest of his European career.
Newspaper claims Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is deep in negotiations with Real president Florentino Perez over a contract worth £215million over five years.
The 31-year-old’s new contract would tie him down to the Bernabeu until 2021, effectively ruling out a return to Old Trafford.
The report adds Ronaldo will earn a staggering £20m per year NET, making him La Liga’s second-best paid player behind Barcelona rival Lionel Messi.
Real allegedly wanted to offer the Portuguese forward a shorter deal, but they’ve been forced to change their hand following the club’s recent transfer embargo.
