Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou on Brighton’s shortlist to take over from Graham Potter after quitting for Chelsea
BRIGHTON are plotting a move for Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, according to reports.
The Seagulls are on the hunt for a new head coach following Graham Potter's switch to Chelsea last week.
Previous reports claimed the South Coast club had drawn up a four-man shortlist that did not include Postecoglou.
But now report the Australian is under serious consideration to succeed Potter.
Postecoglou is reportedly a strong contender amongst a list of candidates Brighton are conducting due diligence on.
The club is said to be impressed by what they have heard about the Aussie coach, both on and off the pitch.

The Celtic manager transformed the Bhoys into title winners and also put up a good showing against Real Madrid in the Champions League last week.
But he has also shown good personal qualities including his ability to remain composed when dealing with the press.
That appeals to Brighton and they may feel they can lure Postecoglou to the Premier League since he is only on a one-year rolling contract.
But Celtic do not want to lose their manager and were in the summer.

If Brighton fail in a move for Postecoglou they could turn their attention to Bodo-Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen, who is reportedly amongst the list of candidates.
The 53-year-old guided the Norwegian outfit to the Europa Conference League quarter-final last season, thrashing Jose Mourinho's Roma en route.
Bodo-Glimt are competing in the Europa League this term and Knutsen's high-press, exciting style appeals to Brighton - for similar reasons to Postecoglou.
Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper, Swansea's Russell Martin and former Shakhtar Donetsk gaffer Roberto De Zerbi have all been linked with the vacant role too.
