Arsenal news: Former Gunners crock Abou Diaby claims he could have won Ballon d’Or… if he wasn’t injured so much
Marseille midfielder believes he was capable of winning football's top prizes but problems

ABOU DIABY could have won the Ballon d’Or but for his injury misery, claimed the former Arsenal star.
The Frenchman has made less than 200 career appearances despite being in the 13th season of his career.
Diaby left the Premier League Gunners last summer to join Marseille but, somewhat predictably, is sidelined currently with a foot injury.

And but for his physical setbacks, he reckons he could have won football’s top prize.
Speaking to France Football, Diaby said: "I have no limits. Once upon a time, people would ask me about the Ballon D’Or.
"I told them I dreamt about it. I have always had big ambitions, like to become one of the best in my position. I think that I had the potential to achieve that.
"I am not saying it pretentiously, but some people in life are ambitious, others aren’t."
Diaby has been capped 16 times by France.
He has only managed five appearances in Ligue 1 this season for his new side.
